PS5 Ecml Crash

This route is not playable anymore after the patch that went out when I load up the route it crashes all my other routes work fine except for Midland Mainline line but then that's been an issue for awhile .

 

Same for me too on PS5.

Since today's update the ECML crashes to the PlayStation home page on PS5 all other routes work?

Same for myself with the crashing. Fully patched as of this am. Make it 20 seconds out of stations and crash

As for add ons... Too many to list. Let's just say everything minus German locos

 

Hi, anyone else having the ECML crash with 801??? As soon as I start any scenario or timetable the route crashes after latest update?

I downloaded all the latest updates today and I have too many addons to list it's timetable mode where the problem is.

 

Also scenarios for me

 

Free roam mode works just fine it's basically when there are ai trains the crash happens.

Yep same here as just trying to upload some work and BAM it keeps crashing within a few minutes of loading up the game.
Come on DTG I now things aren’t as easy some of us think but I have a time frame to work to and now I am letting people down.
Not your problem but I’ve just worked my arse off from about 11:00 yesterday all thought the night to get these done and now I’m faced with this.
Yes I sound angry,,but just tired and I’m sure this will be fixed soon.

Yep I’m on PS5,,,but if it’s still not working later I’ll get my old sega master system out,,play some Alex Kid.

 

Also on PS5, I get the same. Tried SEHS, also crashes as soon as you start.

 

Same problem here also on PS5. All updates installed. Can not start any timetable without it crashing.
Have most dlc instaled, tried SEHS and this also crashed.

All updates in all layers available it crashed at Doncaster

Before the patch, ECML was fine. It‘s very frustrating indeed

 

I'm not on ps5 but I've also been experiencing crashes. I've tried spawning in on foot on other routes and it crashes seconds after loading the route. As for ECML? I'm not gonna touch it for a while as nothing good comes from me driving on it.

 

Same here for me I was playing 1B83 Newark Northgate to London Kings Cross and it just crashed.

 

Now I believe people when they say "bug fixes don't fix the game they brake the game".

 

Second what has been said above, I have also been experiencing crashes on PS5 since the update

 

Definitely, as soon as I closed the doors on the 801 then started to accelerate up to 2mph, a crash appears! I was the the scenario for 2 minutes 50 seconds.

 

Uninstall and reinstall doesn't stop the crashes

 

Same for me on PS5, I have all UK routes and they all crash within a few seconds of start up.

Your game is broken, how does this pass QA?

 

Oh God , so this means I bought TSW4 for everything I bought in TSW in the past for it to crash over and over now!. And the ps4 edition is still not starting after 17th October update.

 

Another patch breaks the game. At least DTG knows how to be consistent when it comes to that

 

Also on Xbox, crash at Doncaster... again.

 

The one place where they're consistent but shouldn't be.

 

PS5 also, tested and crashed on ECML, MML and SEHS. Like others have said it's all linked to the AI trains, so unless we want to play as the only train running on the whole route then the ENTIRE GAME is unplayable right now. I'm normally far from the first person to join in with people calling out Dovetail, that's not to say I have their backs with everything, I'm just not vocal about it. But seriously, your entire game is broken right now. This is an absolute joke, if QA even exists then how the hell does this get past it?

Edit: I've also just crashed immediately upon plotting a course in Free Roam, so it seems that's out of the picture too. So forget it just being the timetable mode, everything, everywhere is broken. This is worse than MML upon launch, at least you could occasionally squeeze out a completed run on there.

 

QA can't exist. There's no way that absolutely nobody noticed that something is broken.

 

Seems like I’m getting a PC then downloading it off epic games, because I’m not seeing too much issues reported on that platform on troubleshooting.

 

Does seem to be console only. If I only had less DLC to consider I'd probably have made the PC switch a long time ago, for mods and for the PC editor. But with me now owning 72 addons...

 

But some DLCs are an entire waste of money like the heritage packs like for the SD70ace or mission packs like Cornish steam railtour.

 

Best thing you can do is wait for these things to go on sale.

 

I only get the addons that really add something meaningful. I admit I did get Cornish Steam mainly because of the LMS crimson livery being one of my favourites, however that's just personal to me. Plus they did actually add new features to the Jubilees in the form of the speedos and AWS systems, I just wish the imperfections in the liveries weren't so glaring especially on the very LMS livery that made me buy it in the first place. That being said I'm a diehard railfan and I will admit, I'd probably buy literally any UK based content that gets released.

I definitely agree though that the US heritage livery packs are just worthless, they offer no extra functionality or driving experience, they're literally just Creator's Club level retextures with a few new scenarios. They're just at a higher resolution because Livery Designer still seems to struggle with that. I don't own them, nor do I ever plan to.

 

i had a crash on ECML using the flying scotsman on the second scenario down. i also had a crash on voralberg using the vectron on a timetable about 0900 time or there abouts cant remember the the exact one.

 

PS4. 3 times crashed 13 kilometres before Grantham service start 07:07 class 801, i have all USA dlcs, NOT having: Edinburgh to Glagsow, Peak forest, Rapid Transit, RSN, RRO, Tharandther rampe, Linke Rheinstrecke, Bad vibel, Hamburg Lubeck, Bremen Holdenburg

 

Southeastern High Speed is also crashing on loading into the route (Ps5)

 

Just tried BBC Birmingham cross city also is crashing on loading the route (Ps5)

 

DTG should be really embarrassed right now. But they probably aren’t. No amount of bad publicity seems to make them want to review how they produce TSW (and it’s many bugs and failed fixes).

 

I also am unable to play just crashes after the game loads the route, several reports issued
