Hi all, I've moved my track over and realigned it with Google Maps Overlay as the long straight was badly out of alignment but when I go to carry on the track laying, the nodes/grid thing(?) is not picking up the new track alignment. If I go to add the track, the track that I've aligned moves back to where it was. This is the first time I've come across this (bug?) as I've done it before without this issue... Thank you
I've uploaded a video, hoping someone can put some light on why this is hapenning: I thought, when selecting the track,the nodes would go with it as well...
It’s not clear, are you dragging the track to realign it? I’ve always deleted track that was not correctly placed and started again, which generally works fine. I’ve slowly come to the conclusion that the only safe thing you can do to existing track is change its node heights.
Yup, I moved it this time last week to realign it as I found by the time I got to Southampton Airport Parkway (From St Denys), it was off by a lot. As soon as I turned the track and realigned it, it's perfectly aligned. However, the nodes haven't moved.
