They should animated the Escalators at the stations. Passengers can ride the escaltors without having to walk up and down on the escalators.
It would be nice but there is plenty of other and more important things they could improve or implement before this.
Stations as a whole need to be payed more attention to. Just look a GWE, it's almost like it was a developer test but charged £15 for it. Stations need to have more functionality than just simply an object with AI spawning on it. We're talking esculators, elevators, announcements, rooms, shops, ticket machines, station staff, guards, whistles, departure boards. We even simply need more traffic too, Reading is supposed to always be busy. It's never empty unless its 12am - 4am.
