I've seen that many locos have cab heater switchs and air conditioning but they do nothing and are just clickable.
Maybe DTG devs can implement one small feature that will use this elements to simulate temperature in the cab and in case of very hot or cold change the driver icon colour on the hud H+C.jpg Please leave the comment or upvote if you would like to see it in TSW.

It's simple things like this that make the game more realistic.

Maybe the game can interface with the smart thermostat in your home.

That would be boring… Since in my Gaming Room the Temperatur is always 25°C.
If you mean with the Weatherforecast, then this also won't work… Or can you imagine playing in-game @ Winter and outside it's 30°C hot?

But a nice Feature, why not :)

This could be coupled with fogging windows, so you actually have to put the ventilation up to have a clear sight.

Let's keep in mind that each little feature like this cuts down on overall performance. Moreover, seemingly small features tend to snowball: in this case, adding a background color to the HUD (which, in itself, is not the least bit realistic) as someone fancies, leads to adding fogging windows. What next? Flushing toilets and interactive toilet paper supplies?

I'd prefer them to improve the visual and audio things before this gets looked at if I'm honest.

I like this idea, nothing adds to the immersion in flight sims as have the windscreens fog over. Having to open vents and even add cabin heat to rectify is great. Would also like to see icing of the windscreen during winter weather building up over time as it does during period of heavy snow.
