Azuma Problems On Other Routes

I’ve had trouble with the Clase 801 when spawning it in with a route that either has a 3rd Rail or has Pantographs cut half way though the route. (For example, GWE has its pantographs cut from Iver to Reading and it also cuts the power to the train, forcing me to use Diesel mode or in East Coastway, because of the 3rd Rail I cannot use overhead.) I play routes which has no electrification perfectly fine on Electric mode (Example: WCL).

 

No power source=no power

Free Roam doesn't have off the rails mode (yet)

 

As I said, I’ve played it fine on WCL

That's not supposed to happen. Rivet probably made some error when setting up the route. In other routes, you require the correct power source

 

The pantograph is kept down but you can still see the sparks it makes. I honestly don’t wanna be capped at 25mph with the Azuma on other routes.

 

You will be until and unless off the rails is enabled

If you want to run Azuma on other routes you'll need to create scenarios and use off the rails mode there

You can go above 25mph on the diesel 'power pack'.

 

How fast? I thought it was just topped at 25pmh

 

In real life the 9 cars top out at about 60 odd and 5 cars will do 75-80. To achieve this though takes a lot of time, distance and flat track so realistically in the current TSW routes you probably won't reach either of these speeds.
