I am experiencing an issues on Xbox X that when I spawn any class 47 with any wagon the brakes wouldn’t release. Please if anyone knows anything about this please let me know and if possible a way to fix it. Thanks!

turn on the AWS switches on the back wall. This will then allow brake release.

    Confirmed. Enable AWS.

Some locos require flipping some switches back and forth to work correctly in Freeroam.

    Hi guys.
Thanks for the tip, it helped.
I'm usually not that into British rail and especially not into older stuff. But I was looking around my catalogue and for some reason I own Northern Trans-P. and I just fell in love with the BR 47 for its enormous windows. But I could make it move after spawning it even after doing the tutorial twice.
I'm on PC, and I had to "I'm stuck" reset the physics as well as turn AWS on. Now it moves.
Only thing is, since it's my first time driving this loco, as a single engine, the driver's break does nothing to slow down the loco, only the straight brake works. Is this normal or another problem with not spawning correctly?

The straight brake should be used when you're not pulling anything.

Or to keep a constant speed on slight downhill sections, where the train brake would be too strong.

Yeah, I've been doing that, and it works fine. But my question if that's broken or working as intended has not really been answered. Thanks anyway.

A bit off topic but there’s one thing, that has been broken since it came out on TSW OG. I reckon it’s the same on PC but it’s impossible to acknowledge the AWS via the classic function “O” for PS and “B” for XBX, without triggering brakes. Quite annoying especially going uphill we have to wait for the brakes to fully release to gain speed. The AWS can still be acknowledged by clicking on the button next to the brakes levers, DTG knows this with tons of report we’ve made but like most of the time “we’re aware of the situation and we passed that information to the dev” and of course since that, it was never fixed :|
