In the class 142, I was using the guards panel to operate the doors. I opened the local door first and then all of them. I then closed the doors and the local door closed. I thought that the local door remained open so the guard could check the platform? (as on the class 385) Is this accurate for the pacer?
You need to press a different button combination in real life, I think they mentioned in the feedback thread. Try pressing the open local door button again, I think that sorts it?
Thanks, i found a video on youtube () and that appears to be prototypical but it appears to only open one 'leaf' of the door instead of the full door.
on the real pacer units you have to press close but at the same time press the local open button to retain the one open door for the guard. Unfortunately it isn't possible to do this in TSW. As for only opening one leaf with the local door control button, it can't be simulated in TSW from what I understand. Nice to see what were my local units on this video (West Yorkshire Metro).
Talking of local door openings, every time me local door opens, the place goes deathly quiet and everyone turns and stares an the new arrival! ...... ( I'll just get my coat. )
