An intermodal transfer point would be a better analogy, as many of the assets from the site have been shipped to multiple other sites, and the topics archived in different places, most final destinations are unknown.
As you seem to be full of - erm Information - please tell me of a service that arrives in a dead end station the reverses out to continue its journey.
I doubt you're really interested but some of the Crewe - Man Picc stoppers reverse at Manchester Airport. I could add more locations ....
I think they do strange things at Tampa Fl. When arriving the Amtrak train turns up a triangle then reverses back to the platform...or something like that ;-).
Gladly here is a example complete with a screenshot Bourne End. Trains arrive into maidenhead then go up to Bourne End which is a terminus as you can see drive changes ends heads down to Marlow. On arrival at Marlow driver changes ends back to bourne End. changes ends again goes back to maidenhead. Oh and incase you think i am making this up here you go a video even showing you it. https://www.video125.com/products/thames-branches?_pos=1&_sid=a60aa46ee&_ss=r
Well known in the area. Called the Marlow Donkey IIRC. Used to work in Marlow in the dim & distant past.
Quite a few answer giving from people who have lots of information then nice to see a chat going on rather than when is ukts closing
It's been in zombie mode for the past 60 days -- dead but not quite done moving.... with bits and pieces falling off now and then.... For most intents and purposes, it's closed, but who knows for certain. Matt seems to have become a ghost on the topic.
Matt usually goes silent on a topic unless you tag him I find. Have you made any attempts to get in contact with him or Peter outside of the forum though?
