    Introduction
Hello, today I'm suggesting a heritage railway that could be used as a map, like the training centre with a small seasonal timetable. It's more of a sandbox map with a couple new trains for players to utilise free roam in.

    The route
This is a small 5 mile route going from B'oness to Manuel via Kinniel Halt and Birkhill. This could join up and become an extension for the Edinburgh to Glasgow line but for now I think it's better as a nice sandbox map until extensions become easier.

    Rolling Stock
This route would come with a selection of 3 new locos and all the other layers from other routes with upgrades. The trains available with this route are:
    • Class 47 intercity Scotrail livery (bpo edition with new livery)
    • Class 37 (upgraded sounds, clagg, interior and in BR large logo livery)
    • Class 26 (br blue livery)
    • Peckett and Sons Class OY1-S 0-4-0ST 2087 'Achilles'
    • 60163 tornado
    • Class 09 shunter
    • Class 20 shunter (LAYERS ONLY)
    • MK 1 Carriages
    • MK1 Carriages + Xmas Lights
    • MK2A Carriages (Scotsman layers)
    • Class 142 Pacer (LAYERS)
    Staff Roles
There would also be station and on train staff roles such as dispatcher, shunter, train manager and signaller.

Dispatcher: Check all doors are shut before departure. Check signal is off. Blow whistle before closing doors and blow whistle and hold up bat after closing the doors.

    Shunter:
Shunt wagons, Carriages and trains in the yard, in and out of B'oness station in preparation for services.

    Train Manager:
Check Tickets, Make a note of how many passengers per carriage. Operate doors, make PA announcements and oversee the smooth running of the journey.

    Signaller:
Your in a signal box. Your given a note of the trains going in and out and where they need to go at what time. Pull the correct levers to make sure trains get given the right signals and pathing. Also hand the driver the token when going onto single track.

    Conclusion
I think this would be a nice cheap route to play. Let me know your thoughts below. I expect this route to be around £15-20 due to the length of the route but the price could be raised depending on how much detail is put in and if staff roles are included, etc. Thanks for reading, let me know your thoughts below. :)

Great suggestion, I think this would be a nice route to have in TSW, I like the staff role aspect as well as it gives you more things to do other than just driving the trains :)

When extensions become easier, I'm guessing this would be extended to Manuel and onto ScotRail eXpress: Edinburgh-Glasgow, which in itself could add railtour services run by SRPS going towards Edinburgh empty from Bo'ness :)

I would like a pres line but I would much prefer something like the SVR with Hydrolics.

Nice route but a little on the short side.

Had this come as part of the EDN route when originally made, it would have been a nice bonus.
On it's own, it's far too short and would effectively just become a TestTrak equivalent for diesel trains we already have in the game. Not a chance they'll go out of their way to make one (nevermind two) brand new steam locomotive(s) as suggested.

Extensions can't happen unless the route is totally rebuilt, so that's out of the picture...

I don't see this having a chance. I doubt it would be greatly popular and is more one for just visiting in real life.

Glad you like it! Yea, I thought the class 37 could do with an upgrade and it would be nice to see some proper Scottish Deisiel traction in the game. :)
This route is more of a playground for players to practise shunting and small railtours though. NOT A PROPER ROUTE. Though it would be good if it came with an extension to Dumblane and Alloa for the Edinburgh - Glasgow line. :)

Bring it on game however this should have been built with Edinburgh Waverly to Glasgow Queen Street via Falkirk High route. There is a hydrogen powered multiple unit here and counts towards Cathcart Circle Class 314s achievement
