Hey I've noticed that the DB BR 642 Not showing the headlights, I mean they are existent, but it has that light problem if you drive for example a TSW 4 train on an older route from TSW. But we all know the DB BR 642 is from TSW 4 and the Nahverkehr Dresden Route actually from TSW 2 but was upgraded to work with the new TSW 4 features. But I still don't understand why the problem is still there.
Nah I actually noticed the same issue on Maintalbahn, when viewed from the top the headlights appear again but looking towards the headlights, they disappear again and appear to be non-working. But if you turn the bright headlight on, they work as expected and are normally visible as expected. The ToD3 issue with the world's brightest headlights also existed on other trains since TSW 3, I have to turn the headlights off on some trains because they are SO BRIGHT.
Yes, I remember that, one of the reasons I don't touch anything than the trusty ol 143, can't get disappointed that way.
Concerning light. Thare are no lights at the depots op the Spirit of Steam and the Peak Forresg routes as well. Inside the buildings there should be light coming from lamps, but there are no lamps at all. Starting in the depot/workshop at night shows no depot lights at all inside the depot buildings where the engines are stationary. It is pitch black. The use of the flash light is the only way to see something. The soft lights of the head lamps aren't strong enough to enlight the area. Driving around is like drinving blind once manouvring or shunting at the depot tracks.
