It wasn't what they wanted to do, but as they literally haven't done any content before, were advised to do something easier first

That's what people can't grasp... that a new developer took the easy route so they could learn the tools.

Prob not the right place for it but as there’s no BCC Feedback thread, following the fixes being deployed I notice that the Litchfield City issues still remain.

Services terminating there display not in service on the front of the train & the platform destination is blank.

This has been this way since launch and has been reported. Can you advise if this is going to be fixed?

Let's just ignore the fact that many players have made modded/non modded liveries and even timetables for free. Difference of course is that players did it because they were more passionate and didn't want to do it for a cheap/easy buck

Look at it from this perspective:

SimTrack are a new developer to TSW. They are learning the tools. Would it be easier for them to jump in at the deep end and create a full route of around 40 miles with 1 new train, or would it be easier to work with what's already there?

From what I can gather, SimTrack didn't even develop anything for TSC, and TSW is far more complex.

They decided to work with what's already in game, and just so happened to decide to utilise the BCC Class 323 and give it a new livery and some new scenarios with it.

I am already aware that they are new although I'd hardly use that as an excuse when we have players with no experience making liveries, scenarios and timetables in the editor at no cost.

This is just a way to make an easy buck to fund future projects. Would I pay for a payware reskin, no. You may be more sympathetic, but this ain't a charity where I will give my money out of good will. I see no point in charging for this. There is a thing called practice you know. They could've practiced until they were comfortable to make something like a train or some scenery assets. I wouldn't expect a 40 mile route as a first go but there is a reason why I and others think that this is a cheap way to make a quick buck

Players creating liveries aren't wanting money, it's a hobby for them.

SimTrack need money to fund a future project.

Did I read in the article that the train operator has recently repainted one.of their current trains into a retro livery which I guess would make it a realistic?

Our fixes were for the loco, as opposed to the route itself (Lichfield City is a route issue). I'll see if we can get this into the first patch in the new year.

Because DTG doesn't implement it well, if done correctly, then it would sell (Looks at Railroader)

The fact that a specific train in real life is using this livery has given me some interest.

So it will be realistic as it is only the one trai n painted and kind of like the Trainbow except you can actually select to drive it. But if you don't you may see it as AI along your trip.

The price of $5.99 is basically $1.00 per senario and $0.99 for the livery. Thats actually pretty fair pricing.

Its funny I had interest in the Skyhook pack until I saw the price, but as I lost interest in that one I have gained interest in one I had none with to begin with.

Thanks for pointing this out Chieflongshin I wasn't even going to read the article as I said I had no interest at all before today in this DLC.

    The forums do still work.

Just to say thank you for following through on this one, I see this fix has been included in the winter update part 2 patch.

    This.

Honestly the biggest problem I have on this forum sometimes is the moaning you hear from individuals when a specific piece of DLC isn't the exact train/era/etc that these individuals want. If someone offers me an apple and I want an orange, I am not going to moan at them for offering me an apple. I will just not accept it and wait until what I do want comes along.

Not every single piece of DLC is meant to satisfy every single player and I don't get the sense of entitlement that it should be.
