Hey Jasper! thanks for the reply . but the question (perhaps it was mistranslated) was only if the allegra mirrors could be opened and closed as in the GE 4/4 II (since it was assumed that these were not going to reflect)
dont´t know if here was already mentioned: the Allegra will not become a timetable drive on Arosa. It was posted by Rivet in german forum (here translated): "Regarding timetables: The Allegra will not be layered on the Arosa line because we currently do not know how locomotive-hauled trains can be replaced by a multiple unit."
A new timetable yes but for the reason? Can DTG not help. Tees Vally has Class 31 hauled 101s subbing in for regular DMU 101 services. Perhaps maybe not that straight forward
The Berninalinie was announced in the November roadmap. Has anyone got any knowledge of the imminent release date?
No. It's definitely some time in 2024 since it's almost Christmas and new years so nobody would be in the office
They said on the Roadmap stream more info was going to come on the other side of the holiday break. So they confirmed it won't be out until at least January. Over the last few years they seem to stagger back into the office the 1st 2 weeks of January so the 3rd week is probably the earliest.
I agree. This is nitpicking. Compared to the serious issues Arosa had (startup lurch, borked braking in the launch version, poor mountains) or the major issue with Luzerne (ETCS nonfunctional) these are all trivial.
I sure hope that the sounds are decent and not related in any way with Arosa. Although tin the latest preview trailer I did notice the same square wheel freight like sounds for the coaches at least. I wanted to preorder but I will wait for the preview stream since if the sounds are again broken it's a big no no for me
yeah, I noticed the strange sound of that waggon too. Same thing as at Arosa - still today. If they not have the real sound - okay. But a bit more realistic faked sound should be.
not 100% sure, but I think that was the sound of the open coach from the Arosa livery pack, which never got the fixed sounds. (The open coach is not included in the Bernina-DLC)
that’s right; it was said that the coaches should get a sound update after which we could “say goodbye to the shopping cart sounds”- I hope it will be in there; but tbf from the front of the Allegra you wouldn’t here it anyways so it’s not as much of a problem as on Arosa…. Anyways, I preordered the route and really can’t wait till the 16th arrives
I am still concerned that 90% of the weather in the video was foggy or snowy. I hope the view/render distance will be OK.
Judging by screenshots the scenery looks pretty nice. My only issue is with the way the track ballast and the right of way looks around it. Looks too wide and empty.
That would be nice since even having one of those terrible coaches at the end of the train would still make the sound audible in the front of the train even cab. Now I am still curious of the sounds of the Allegra itself. Real one :
