For anyone with the add-on, what are the scenarios and what is meant by 'flashing emergency indicators'?
I’m also wanting to know, but the devs & DTG haven’t said anything despite being active in threads. Me thinky they are the usual tone of generic timetables with a red signal or cold start added in.
Scenarios: Outstabled but stable Misty morning start Engineering a shunt Regional speed restrictions Regional rescue
This is reference to scenario #4. Regional Speed Restrictions, which without giving much away, has some Emergency Speed Restrictions on it. When entering an ESR, there should be the iconic Daleks, also known by their official names of Emergency Indicators at the bottom of the page here https://www.railsigns.uk/sect14page2.html However, they don't seem to be present in the scenario, so I think something might have broken/become bugged before release. There were also no temporary AWS magnets like there should have been, but other than that, it's probably the best TSR we've had so far since it provided enough warning to slow down for the ESR. However, sadly, it's still not quite right, but I think they're getting there. As for the video you provided, that would be the emergency lights which I wasn't aware of the class 66 having, but clearly it does. Edit; Rail signs doesn't like image linking it seems, so just linked the page
The emergency indicators should definitely be in the scenario, so I'm surprised to hear they're not present. Please could you confirm what platform you're playing on? We wanted to include working temporary magnets with the release, however we hit a last minute issue which meant we had to pull them. It's still planned that they will be introduced in our first patch.
I'm playing on Steam myself. Definitely weren't there for me. Glad the magnets are planned though, and that they should be there. But all that was there for me was the 10mph warning board, the 10mph commencement board, and then the termination boards.
Ah ok, I think I'm just forgetful then lol. Thinking about it, I think I might remember a button for it on the left side by the brake handles. Guess it becomes easy to forget when there isn't too much use for them in the game most of the time.
