Hi, With the recent announcement of an update for WSR and the mention of a Winterlights service with the Jubilee Festive and Class 47, I wanted to propose an idea to those developing this timetable. On the real West Somerset Railway Winterlights, the resident Class 09 is sent up the line around 3pm, stopping turn on all the lineside light displays between Bishops Lydeard and Crowcombe. It may be too big of an ask to request these lineside displays be added into the game, but a service with the 09 where you are instructed to head light loco up to Crowcombe, then on your return journey to stop in several places between there and and Lydeard, wait for 1m to simulate turning on the lights, then proceed to the next location, returning back to Lydeard in time for the Winterlights train to depart, would be quite interesting and fun in my opinion. Top marks already to all developing this update, might I add, as there are not words to describe how excited I am for it
1) welcome to the forums 2) Whilst that is a good idea, there really is no point to it if there won't be any lineside displays.
Lineside displays could be a scenario or mastery more likely a scenario if you want to be able to drive down the line
However, just like what coolpgaming#7175 has said, it could be a scenario instead of a timetable as there have been many times when DTG or a 3rd party dev has created custom assets or modified in the route in someway in only one scenario
