I have a question, can you do a tutorial on how to bring train models into the game, apply textures, make them move, and like wheel rotation

 

I don’t see why not, but I’d have to do that when I find time, which might take a while

an extension to Duisburg is not out of the question but would be when I've finished with Köln - Düsseldorf first

Ok then at least the Desiro DB Br462s can run alongside the 146.2s running Doppelstock 780 785 766.2 767.2 on RE1s on the stretch

yep that Car Wash / Garage is an asset of mine, it also has LEDs which light up at night in like a rainbow form, that will be implemented today aswell before I sleep

it is still probably heavily work in progress, but I do get what you mean, with two scharfenberg couplers inside each other...

 

do have a bit of patience please, It’s impossible to get everything to look perfect in such a short time by myself, and as I always say this is all still a heavy WIP, so just wait.

 

With the velaro D are you planning to make a AI Eurostar for the SEHS HS1? Would be cool to see some AI or possibly a playable service to ashford

hello, today I'm here with video preview number 5, this time we're taking a few Zaacns from Langenfeld to Düsseldorf Reisholz, Ive decided to drive under sunset this time to give you a different angle of the route



keep in mind this is a work in progress, alot of what you see is not final.

 

I have a question about the Desiro HC, will it perhaps at some point after release come with a DB livery/design? looks kinda hot in DB red

 

DB Red is not planned for the Desiro, but Livery Designer compatibility is, so you’ll be able to go crazy there

 

not really a fan of livery designer (resolution of the livery in-game is not great and no advanced stuff like random numbering etc possible, and most importantly THE FONTS) but I don't think it needs a DB livery for now, we already have enough red, also the RRX livery looks great too, so maybe thats fine after all (my opinion doesn't really matter anyways because I'm just one person lmao)

as a mod? honestly too much effort for me, and wouldn't wanna steal textures, we obvously could ask Folezz but uhhhh idk

 

I do not have problems with Mods being made out of my content under the condition that they are made free .

redistribution of my content for money, without permission is where problems will arise.

 

Not a mod out of his content, it would of course only contain our content, so it would be an add-on

 

aye Folezz I thought I could quickly ask you this, what should I set my material settings to of a decal texture so it doesn't look off and more metallic/whateveritis when replacing it on a train? can't view any materials of the available game content unfortunately so I am kind of clueless there.

 

Decals are easy

- first create your material
- set your material blend mode to "Translucent"
- then connect RGB to Base Color and Alpha to Opacity

and thats pretty much it

"Shading Model" you can leave as is (Default Lit) I was just playing around testing the different settings

 

I already know how to do the materials like that, thanks, but I am still quite confused because as you can see here

now both are found in the content of the ICE 3M right now but the left one is what mine look like aswell when I create new materials and the right one is what I want it to look like, as it has some metallic/reflective look on it. how do I achieve this? [EDIT: I figured it out now, I actually forgot how I did it but I did it so it works ]

oh and while we are discussing do you know a meantime-solution for the RVV/RVD files disappearing on restart of the editor until DTG fixes it? am kinda impatient and I have modding plans so uhh

 

Hey sorry but does anybody know if it is possible to get models of trains from TSW into Blender? Because id like to transform the Flirt 1 from the Lucern to Sursee rout into the german variant with PZB and everyting. (I thought i'd ask in this forum because the main train building community is here.)

 

You have to find the meshes in the Content Browser (in this case you're looking for skeletal meshes, check LZN_RABe_523 - View - Model), right click, asset actions > export. But let's not derail the thread

Instead I would only model the tiny pzb stuff, and make a copy of the rvv, and add the pzb features

 

Only problem is i need to redesign the whole "Desk" (dont know the english word)
Thats the variant i try to build but we currently have another one in TSW

 

Why would you need to? And why does that image look like the br 650 cab?

 

It looks like a 650 cause they are both products from Stadler Pankow

 

But the Flirt 1 is still different

 

the german versions have a really ugly cab. its just not made for comfort.
