Hello, I am a new player of this game, I would like to know that how do we activate and set the cruise control (AFB; sound as ah-F-B) of the ICE-TD? I play on keyboard and i only know that the key "C" on my keyboard is to reduce the speed limit of cruise control, does anyone know how to set it? As sometimes i may set it over the speed limit in the game and cause emergency braking, which is very annoying. Please if there is any professional player(s) can tell me how to toggle it please!!!!!
If you READ page 8 of the Manual that comes with the train that you find in Railworks/Manuals it has more info In particular K to switch On/Off - Y to increase the Top Speed - C to decrease the top speed. Not sure why you needed to add a Poll to ask a question?
Okay, thank you! However, the speedometer is too small for me to see even if i zoomed in, how can we look it accurately?
It is difficult. Really what the hud should have is more costumisation, the cruise control settings being one of the items you could include. I’ve used a software called ts-telemetry. In that you can set up gauges so you can see your important settings. You can see an example here. (Old computer choppy playback warning). Only caveat is that you will have to set it up yourself for each loc.
Why can you not see the marker? Normal View Roll mouse to Zoom in Unless you have pushed the K the red dot on the Right Does not move
In the pictures of the TS Telemetry on RailSim.de it shows the Train/Brake/Cylinder pressure as 0 bar but no info on the Brake Pipe Pressure?
They are the same, so just take your pick. I use the HUD for these things, so no idea. The things i use TS-Telemetry for is sequrity systems and cruisecontrol values.
Uhm... They've modelled nice interactive cabs with gauges. Why not just look at them like a real driver. For me, the HUD only needs to show track related data.
Maybe the first RS versions which reused much of the MSTS HUD code still. (Vertical track monitor) For me, PZB/AWS/ACSES are enough to remind me of signals. But that's just me
Some of us prefer tsc differently. I sometimes like my view like this. It’s very immersive. Impossible without ts-telemetry. Add to that the op problem is that the display in the train is unreadable unless zoomed in. And in real life you sure as h..k don’t take your eyes of the track to stick your head close to the display in order to read it. What was offered here was a solution.
