Hi. I noticed that some have been talking about multiple locos and big loads. Does anyone know how to do a roam on the trans pennine and then can two class 47 be joined and made functional?

Hello, I don’t think there is any, not that I know of. It seems like there’s just basic passenger services and the traveling post office service. Hopefully something like that can be added in the future!

According to Wikipedia, Class 47 has no support for multiple working but some of the newer engines were upgraded to support it.

Don't think 47s or any of their refurb units needed double heading as they're pretty powerful anyway.
Only difference to the scenario would be getting the link established and from then on you're only driving as normal anyway really

I have played the postal run each with class 47 and class 45. I prefer the 47, great turbo sound when its wound up full throttle, which is most of the time. It was very stressed pulling the postal run. The 45, no problems. I checked the train and found 12 carriages in tow. Poor 47, oh dear, struggle struggle. Be nice to do that run two up. I checked the specs, little difference in reality but in TSW, big difference. Perhaps one day we could get a class 66 on that run.

NTP is set in 1983, and the class 66 was only introduced in 1998, soooo...

    Maybe with the editor though!

Not sure 66s did that run, though there are a number of 67 scenarios which include postal runs. 66s have a lower top speed than the 67s (which can do 125 with a downhill gradient, following wind and having had their weetabix) and postal traffic runs at higher speed than "other freight"

Nearest you can get is the 45 scenario with the failed 47. Might be able to conjure up something at one of the depots. Cant imagine game will let you get far tho.
Try spawning at Holbeck depot. Some locos knocking about and manual point switches

I've actually tried this cause I got bored the game doesn't let you drive them but the class 101 that are there you can strangely move them about so what I was doing was taking the class 101 apart and making up my own formations for example a three car set
