Oooooh, I’ve no idea where it is but I’m excited. Looks British for starters. Does the car licence plates hold any clues to those who are Train savvy?

Oh, great...ANOTHER European DLC. (HEAVY sarcasm)
Well, there goes my hope of an American route/locomotive for the week.

SLB = Saltburn- a reference to a "DarlingtonSaltBurn" route popped up in the game files a few weeks ago. Peoplehave already matched the steeple in the background to a building in Saltburn.

I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed too... I'm ok enough with European / British routes that I'll probably still buy this, but still, I'm disappointed...

Probably means the US one will be longer than usual and will take more time

Oh great. Another route set in the 80s. The last 4 UK DLCs have been heritage. Whatever happened to VARIETY and the next route being different from the previous one??

So the next route is UK. To be honest the fact their was no new US route in the files should have been a red flag.

While UK routes are my favourite, I feel bad for anyone expecting a US route.

Yeah, no kidding. We obviously won't give up on the game 'cause it IS beautiful, but DTG needs to start listening to their American consumers too. There hasn't been ONE single American route or locomotive DLC since launch, and America's railroads (routes, yards, & trains) are PLENTIFUL.

    ***Update***
I don't know what these downvotes are about, especially if you don't have the nuts to say something, but I stand by what I said.
And yes, I'm aware that the LIRR is an American DLC.

Yeah, it sucks. I understand DTG is located in the U.K., so it makes sense that there'd be a lot of European routes and trains, but like I said in another reply, America's railroad tracks and locomotives are diverse and plentiful.

There's been the long island DLC, and technically the nec was the 2nd US route

I'm just saying that the ratio of European to American DLC's is WAY off.

Yeah when you put it like that. But as of now, each country has 3 routes, (US has 4 on PC).

Personally I prefer UK routes as I'm British, but I want more countries than the UK, Germany and the US represented

The US has 3 on PC. And 2 on Consoles
But the UK will have 4 routes in total once this one is fully announced

I own the game on PS4 (my computer is garbage), so unfortunately I don't have the CSX HEAVY HAUL DLC. Man, I wish I did...

Oh yeah, I discounted for some reason. My bad lol. Maybe they are making a bigger than usual route for the us and need more time, like someone else said

Hahaha! It's all good. I really hope so; that would be super cool, especially if it's freight related (come on, AC4400CW!).
Yeah, TrainSimWorld was started and built for PC, so I assume most people forget that console users don't have everything that PC users get, like the CSX:HH. I've been bugging DTG about that 'cause I want that DLC SO BAD. I'm sure they think I'm a pain in the ass sometimes. Hahaha!

Although I was hoping for an American route, I am still excited to see this route especially with the quality improvements they have made with the content they have created. I’m totally okay with a UK route as long as it is a fun route to drive. Does someone know if this is a mostly flat straight route or a route that has some interesting scenery?

Interesting that that implies loco DLCs before the next US routes. LIRR M3 maybe?

I really have a feeling this route is going to be something special. From the research I have done it looks like it’s a beautiful route and with DTG quality lately. They could make something really amazing. Here are some pictures I pulled from google from that era!

Same here, the route loses a bit of character without the pacer.

I think american users cannot complain; they had not been forgotten at all! If you like at the routes available now, here are the numbers:

3 North America (although one for PC only)
    3 Germany
    3 UK
So why all this fuss over american routes?

It is interesting to note that the red car in the picture above resembles a second series Fiat Ritmo sedan.

But also a Mark II VW Golf:
