Hello all, I am making a new timetable for Main Spessart Bahn (including layers for ICE's etc.). I am experiencing issues to get trains to leave the map from Gemünden towards the Wernfeld (and Waigolshousen) portals to the east. Services leaving platforms 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 trying to leave the map get stuck at a signal trying to route towards these portals. Only services departing platform 9 or on the freight sidings do leave as expected without any issues. There seems to be an issue with some switches constantly switching between left/right pathing (multiple times per second). Services leaving portal Wernfeld 1 are perfectly able to reach all of the platforms in Gemünden. Before I start learning how to edit track/signals, can someone point out if there is indeed an issue with this route and if it is (easily) fixable by someone that has only just started to use the editor? The real life RB/RE services towards Würzburg use platform 7 (occasionally 9), so I'd prefer to be able to use this platform. Thanks a lot for any pointers!
Try setting the portal location to exact and click at the end of the portal. I've had that fix some issues for me before.
I've tried fiddling with "force specific location" and anything on the ribbon between 0.0 and 1.0, but to no avail. I've made a video of what I'm seeing. The behaviour is consistent for any service trying to leave Gemünden platform 2-8 towards Wernfeld portals. Trains leaving platform 9 or the freight sidings are doing fine. I made a short video to show the behaviour.
Could you try adding in a go-via between the station and portal? Seems like the dispatching is having a bit of a moment.
I did, didn't help alas. I tried spawning a train in game to check and it seems there's definitely something wrong with the route itself. I'll dig into route editing and hope to be able to fix it. For now I'll route all my out services via platform 9. Thanks for the pointers!
