Dtg Are We Waiting For Tsw5

TSW4 has only been out since September. TSW3 has been out for just over a year.

That's not a fair comparison.

 

Now that the development tools have been released, all American trucking enthusiasts can do something about it. Urging DTG is most inappropriate.

 

that’s not surprising… TSW3 is still out and has been for over a year, TSW4 came out in September.

TSW4 would have caused more sales than another piece of TSW3 dlc which is what the alternative would have been.

 

TSW3 was released on 6 September 2022

 

Even if there would be tsw5 in 2025, im pretty sure its the same out of control mess in 2030.

 

Safety systems as well as safety regulations are there for a reason, just because you can achieve gold medals on a Train Simulator doesn't mean it would be the same in real life.

 

Sir if you read properly i said for the duration TSW4 has been out im not going to compare a 1.5 year old game and a 0.5 year old game. Im talking about when TSW3 was the same age that TSW4 is now

Fr, i was expecting the standard edition, and some routes that have been relased earlier this year to be on sale for about 40%-80% but noooooo, its always the deluxe edition and routes that have been relased during tsw2 typical ol' dtg

 

If tsw5 comes next September, The routes MUST BE absolutely Exceptional Routes, if not then I wont get it Until they release I route that I Like

 

You never said that.

There was nothing in your post to indicate you were talking about when TSW3 was the same age as TSW4.

The tools are not exactly user friendly (Trainz Surveyor it ain't) and without an unofficial mod you can't cook content for release.

I only play UK routes because those are the ones that DTG actually puts effort into making as realistic as possible. Examples: SEHS, Brighton Mainline.

No! BCC, Glossop line and ECML all include only 1 form of free motive power! At least with SEHS we get two and Brighton ML we get different variants.

Legally speaking, DTG may be liable for false advertising. In the key features on the steam store page it says "Learn to drive realistic trains on detailed routes". False. 50% are bad, 40% are bugged 5% are s*t and the other 5% are actually good.

 

TSW has a lot more realism than you're giving credit for.

Again, there is good quality with the routes and trains available.

Publishing content you create yourself is currently not possible. The function simply doesn't exist to save your own content as a .pak.

Therefore, the editor is currently useless for creating freeware and sharing it with the community.

 

Not only that, it tends to crash sometimes. And the absolutely MOST important part is - there is almost ZERO documentation for almost EVERYTHING. And if there is, then it's either through 1000s of seperate posts, threads OR through hour long streams that you have to watch. There are so many things we cannot create just because we either do not know that you can, do not know how to, and/or do not know enough.

thats why i always say that the route that i most played in tsw3 was training center and sehse becuase it was close to home but it got boring way too fast,

are any of the trains not real ? No they are all based on true to life trains…

(edit for the “learn to drive” part: are you able to take control of the trains ? Yes, do they contain tutorials ? Yes)

Do the routes contain features such as stations, weather, skies, foliage, tunnels, bridges, road traffic, level crossings etc ? Yes those are details…

you cant learn to drive a real train on a sim like TSW in all fairness. If you could then companies would use it as a training tool and not spend silly money on actual simulators

it would also need strict approval of which the game just isn’t aimed at for to be used as professional training even if it could.

 

i know i was just being pedantic in reply to your comment on the above lol. As for IRL simulators my TOC have a sim that cost stupid money if you ask me and it is a great training tool for defect handling etc but for actual driving nope nothing like the real thing

TBH he does this in discords as well he seems to do it to boost his post count higher to level up in discords and does the one word answers in them as well. He has been told off countless times for it so possibly trying to do the same here to get his message count up. I have explained to him how to do the multi quote replies in one post in another thread he is doing the same thing in. Lets see if he takes notice. If not then all i can suggest is people start reporting his constant messages as spam and the admin will limit his posting abilities to stop him doing it.

With always the same half finished dlcs, bugs, stuttering, flickering, fps drops etc etc

 

The problem with the legal route: if you've bought DLC after DLC and complained about bugs in each one, then you'll be laughed at simply because you've chosen to purchase another DLC when you knew the risks.

 

Your exactly right mate, I will try my best not to, but just know its not every time i can always do it so expect it every know and then , hopefully its ok with you all.
