Timetable is always my go to, I spend probably about 90% of my time with TSW in that area. Free roam, Choice and Customisation in TSW is essential.
Yeah i noticed that last night as well. It is not a bad price tbh even if you just wanted the routes which will be ported to TSW 4 anyway so a nice little late present for thouse who dont have the routes or stock. how long until the first TSW is back on steam do you reckon Spikee1975 shall we take bets
how long before founders and CSX heavy haul (not sure if that last one got removed tbh it was before my time with TSW) guess DTG’s flight sim is coming back at this rate
I think CSX:Heavy Haul was upgraded for free to TSW2020, iirc. Not sure though. I was playing the beta in 2016, then put it away and purchased TSW in 2018, which now sits as TSW 2020 in my library.

Which sadly you can’t do if you need to come off and save the game to resume later. Once you move to a subsequent service or train, the objective data and clock fail to save/load, rendering the run unplayable when you return. IMHO this should be an absolute priority for DTG to fix particularly given the number of short routes where it’s ideal to emulate a driver’s shift, but they sit on their hands and do nothing.
You can always note down the time you end your session and later spawn in on foot at said time and place. Also keeps the timetable free from accumulated errors. I know of no train sim that can save a whole moving timetable without errors. It's very complex. Zusi doesn't - although it has more than two decades of development, Carsten said "not possible". Run8 has all trains stopped. TSC produces errors when reloading sometimes. SimRail doesn't. Don't know about Trainzzzz though... I do criticise DTG for a lot of things, but here I understand the technical difficulties. Especially during signal transitions. Still the timetable has issues if a train is occupying two signal blocks at a given spawn time, resulting in the train being stuck. There's a lot of deferred variables and latency times to consider and reload appropriately. You might need to make sure no train in the timetable is crossing a signal at game saving time for example.
