Hey everyone and happy new year!

I hope I didnt miss a feedback thread for the new setting to disable the HUD but I wanted to share some thoughts here on how it could be improved.

First off, it is really great to be able to drive hudless on consoles with the throttle indicators, buttons etc still visible.

Unfortunately, using the new option disables some HUD elements that should still be visible.

    1. The center dot

It is not visible at all which makes it hard to interact with any levers or buttons. And there already is an option to make it disappear after a few seconds. It would be great if this option was available when the HUD is turned off via the options.

    2. The toggleable timetable (via t on keyboard or via the gamepad)

The timetable can't be viewed when enabling the option to turn of the HUD. But it would be helpful in order to see the next stop and time as you don't have the top bar if the HUD

    3. The dispatcher messages

Pressing tab gives you the Pop-up menu for door controls and to contact the dispatcher but you cannot see the answer as it is invisible.

It would be great to be able to enable these elements as they are all important but optional or disappear after a few seconds.

Let me know what you think or whether there is anything else that could be improved.

The 1. The centre dot: there is a toggle in the settings.

I set it to disappear automatically. But when the HUD-type is set to off there is no center dot visible at all for me.

This would be my idea of HUDless. No on-screen elements telling you where to stop, when to open and close doors, etc. but just a reticle so you are able to interact with the controls in the cab. I don’t know why the off setting gets rid of it.
