Hello, I play on the PS5 and bought TSW4 today. Unfortunately, my routes and trains from TSW3 were not carried over, even though I adopted the profile and it is displayed correctly. What can I do? Thank you!
There´s no automatic "carry over". You´ll have to reinstall all routes again on TSW4 (Yeah, I know ...). Best via content manager. If they don´t show in your content manager, do an in-game installation ("Expand Your Collection" - you should see what you own). After restarting TSW4, your legacy routes and trains should be visible. When you redownload everything from the playstore, the console might want to put EVERY version into the queue. Cancel the PS4 version download if it has started already, and delete it anyway from the queue. You don´t want to clutter your PS5 storage with a version you won´t use. Besides the waste of time. Hope this helps.
Sorry, I wouldn't know. Never got my hands on an XBox. But somebody on this board will?! Maybe Princess Entrapta can help?!
All the information about installing add-ons for all platforms can be found on the Dovetail Support site.
Well, then speculate away! (It´s a preferred pass time on this forum. So much that I ask myself when do we actually drive trains?!) New Us Route Coming?? Or follow the roadmaps: Train Sim World Roadmap - December 2023
Sorry for being off topic, Pipe. Your constant use of an accent (´) instead of apostrophe (') triggers my OCD. It also causes incorrect word wrapping on my mobile. Like: "You ´ll have to reinstall"
Oh my, sorry for that! It took 1493 posts and several PMs to be pointed to that flaw. Typing English on a portuguese native keyboard can be a bit tricky. I had to find the " ' " first. But everyday's a schoolday and the organist in me can change this in an instant, no problem. On the other hand: When I read in what way some native speakers / writers rape their mother tongue on this board, I feel less guilty. You better be careful with that OCD.
Haha, really, no offense. It's not that bad, my OCD, but I just cannot "not notice" some things. But I would have also accepted a "bugger off!" reply... Obrigado.
