I would like to know the same, and I honestly hope it's freight related. Calling the LIRR DLC a "train" feels somewhat like a misnomer to me.
I'd personally like to see the AC4400CW loco as a DLC.

Yeah, that could be cool. The NEC definitely needs an extension, and a connection to NJ would actually work.
I'd personally like to see the Cajon Pass or the San Bernardino rail yard added, as well. Just something on the west coast.

I would like to see the Northern Maine Railroad with a lot of freight! I don’t think we will hear anything until the Tees Valley Line route release.

I just looked at some pictures of that area; that would be beautiful, especially in the fall.

I don't think anyone here knows what the next U.S DLC will be.

Dovetail only release information on routes when they are near release, for now that's the UK route, the "Tees Valley" line.

No information on the next US route has been released, nor will it be until dovetail are ready, which will more than likely be after the release of Tees Valley. Unless, someone notices something in the files which would suggest at it, but, that would be speculation and hearsay untill, once again, dovetail release information.

I am fine with West Somerset & Tees Valley but I would buy a US mountain pass route at release.

I prefer freight over passengers any day. That start-stop-start-stop every few miles is annoying. Of course, I also like long road trips, so that might be why.

Running the Class 66 on the GWR must be your thing then, very long route with no stopping...
Would love to do some proper freight movements with the 66 and not just point to point.

Im not American, but can't wait to Shunt Freight around in Tees Valley line.
I love the class 08 in WSR but shunting the odd passenger loco became boring quite quickly.

Free switching in the GP38 on the American route is great fun, so a UK equivalent would keep me going for ages.
