I think the best bait is tiger nuts, most baits though pick up other fish

18mm boilie on the iq-d rig 4 i get most of my boss carp out of presa on , i also had cheetah and lynx on the biolie , have had hermano and smurfy a few times with mowgally also liking the tigernuts (20mm float) on a kd rig 4 , i use either a stalking rod with pit reel or 13ft ext with pit reel and 25lbs line on both of those, for my waggler i use 8lbs mono with 16 waggler with either worm or 8mm dumbell depending on if targeting roach / bream or tench / bream . double medium corn is also a good waggler option ;)

is as much about location as is about tackle / technique , i have not caught many fish at all at the dam wall end of the lake , the number of boss fish caught increases for me the farther away from the wall i have fished ;) peaking around the deep water where the 3 parts meet ;)
