I suggest better snow effects which include better snow kick off effect and snow plowing. The snow kick off effect right now is kinda meh, the snow only kicks off from the sides off the trains and it is not realistic at all. The snow should kick off a lot from the end of the train and maybe from the roof if it is snowing and travel a much greater distance to the sides and stay in the air for much longer time. (There is a lot videos in youtube, videos from Europe in my opinion are better because trains are going faster) Snow plow, snow plow would be a feature which many of us would enjoy and it would also be a great marketing idea. For snow plowing we wouldn't need any more rolling stock just the effects. It would be a great scenario idea also. This is one scenario idea what is based from real life. There is a branch line near me and it had no service for a week and it snowed a lot during that week. The first train that was scheduled to go through the line slowed down for every railroad crossing and went through them 5-10 km/h because snow was built up from snow plows plowing the road. I speculated that it was because the loco would be easier to couple up to freight wagons when it would leave.
You're right. It does look a bit naff at the moment. I think the kick-off should also settle a lot slower or at least fall rather than fading away into mid-air
