In TSW2 around year ago this scenario was broken when you were forever blocked by red signal when other locomotive delivered the wagons with timber. In TSW3 with some preserved collection fixes you can play it slightly further - other locomotive goes out of your way and you can couple to the first bunch of wagons, go to the reverse point, but now you are bocked on other red light that prevents you to pull wagons back into the yard. Problem seems to be in fact that some other (passenger?) train is also waiting on red in station (on map SE from where 363 operates). Still deadlock.
Have a feeling this one got me too. First round trip from the timber sidings to the yard, fine. Second trip held first for a freight on the main line, then a passenger service but the signal to leave the timber spur never cleared and couldn't be tabbed by. No other trains moving evident on the 2D map. Why do DTG continue to ignore broken scenarios, particularly ones which are required to complete Journey Mode? Chopper And Change on TVL is another case in point.
I´ve driven this scenario today in TSW2 on PS4 and had no trouble E2E, whatsoever. Forgive me if I ask a possibly obvious question: Do you always accelerate a little bit into the direction of the (red) signal and ask THEN the signaler to give you a path? Otherwise the dispatcher won´t know in which direction you want to push. I had this trouble as well, sitting there forever and waiting until somebody gave me that hint. (I think solicitr). BUT: What I´ve just found is that the automatic coupler of the 363 has gone awol. Geeeeez DTG, why do you have to always screw up working features? Fer Chris´Sake, just leave it untouched! (Aaaah, I suspect the unfamous SoS buffer "patch" )
I just bought the BR363 and can confirm that the “Trunk Service” journey is broken on my XBox series S. Too bad, I’ve learned this route and the loco are otherwise really good.
Bump. Same issue on the PS5. I cannot get past the red light as described by dainis#5378. DTG, can we please get this fixed? The scenarios and services in this game that cannot be completed are so brutal and frustrating.
Just got stuck too on this job. TSW3 Steam PC. I have picked up the first cut of loaded log cars and I am sitting at the reversal point. Signal 0343 is red. Dispatcher won't let me through. I am at step "Stop at Location Hagen Log Storage Yard" after recently completing the step "Uncouple Vehicles 11 Vehicles". I see no movement on the map. I do see a 5 car passenger train at a red signal labeled S 041. This may be the train that is supposed to pass on the main line before I am allowed to go, but it is not released to move.
DTG Matt DTG JD just played this scenario and got stuck due to this long standing bug. Can you confirm this will be fixed when you port this over to TSW4?
Is this on Ruhr Sieg Nord? I'll check the bug list I have and see where that one is. Pretty sure i've fixed up a 363 scenario on Dresden that was bust but I don't know if it was this one. Matt.
Everytime I tried this scenario I never had a problem with being blocked by the red signal. I just waited it out. The problem I had was the dispatcher would route on the wrong line and then tell me I'm off route!
The scenario selector shows the estimated time is about 1hr 40min, how long did you have to wait? is this a stuck light or just a super long delay?
I´ve asked that myself (Arosaline anyone?) and let it run for hours while I was working. I think after a 4 hours wait or so I quit waiting. No move. This scenario worked flawlessly in TSW2.
DTG Matt, this is indeed on Ruhr Sieg Nord. This bug is still present in TSW4. Could this please be corrected in the post-release patch? Other than this bug, I have been having an amazing time with TSW4. Thank you for your efforts!
Still broken. Just threw away an hour of my life because of a bug that's more than a year old. I really enjoy TSW 3 & 4, but things like this just ruin it.
Just had the same problem as the OP in TSW 4 on PS5. I know I completed this scenario on PS4 back in TSW 2 or 3 (can't remember which game version it worked in). It was really good and one of my favorites, but broken now on TSW 4.
Can confirm this is on Ruhr-Sieg Nord and I am having the same issue and it doesn't switch my path either.

Same here on PS4, after going in the reversal point with br 363 and the first rake of wood wagons, got stuck at signal 0343 and says to wait for signal to change, but this is too long wait and no train move on map. Ruhr Sieg Nord, Trunk service scenario
Signal will never change because the scenario sets the return path through the siding where the consist is standing.
Tried this again yesterday and again no problems with red lights but dispatcher still sent me down the wrong line after the 185 drops the train off that you're supposed to break down

... Heavy sigh.... I could tag DTG Alex or DTG Matt once again and ask for another update... once again... but... let's be honest, what's the use? I'm sick and tired of having to ask for the same fixes over and over again for years. I give up. DTG wins, I'll just play what works and disregard the rest. Can't be bothered anymore.
I recall finishing the service in TSW2 when apparently it still worked. might have redone it once because I couldn't play for so long. I waited a while but I did finish it. hope for others it gets fixed one day. but if it is like that G6 service I sincerely doubt it and expect it to go on the forget about it pile
It's May 6th and it is still broken. The signal 0343 never changes to clear as the path is set to the siding with the rest of the lumber wagons.
Yeah screwing around with a mod it seems that signal needs to switch to route 21 out of 16 possible ones so I guess it just never does. I was able to get a bit further with said mod last time before something else stopped me at some point...it also seems the mission text boxes that tell you to start splitting the wood log loaded train show up after you began doing so already so that's misplaced too....
Am glad it finally got fixed. Sad to see it's not been backupushed as an update to TSW3, but alas, understandable after all this time. I'll be completing that on 4 once I finish everything here and make the jump. Thumbs up!
If you want to earn this trophy on TSW3, one way to do it is to complete this Scenario on TSW2 and then import your profile from TSW2 to TSW3 and then complete the rest of the Scenarios in TSW3. As that is what I did..
