Oh thank goodness, there IS a preorder discount. I like these routes, but I'll only ever buy them on sale... as long as they keep doing those I can still mess with routes on release.
I understand it's harder to have the pre order discount on console, but maybe a 1 day sale on release day? (If they pick it up day 1, they would have prob pre ordered for the discount). Maybe it's something you could discuss with Sony and Microsoft?
How can you sell the same product cheaper for one set of players and leave out everyone else? That is just alienating everyone. They can do a preorder for consoles as we saw with NTP
"packed with heavy steel and classic passenger action" I'm assuming this one's for adult users only then????
It's simply not for DTG to decide on consoles. If Microsoft or Sony say no to a discount, they won't be able to do one.
Then DTG should suspend the discount for all per my post about alienating part of the player base. Having spent. Stack of money already on this, the fiver saved could be used on the next dlc I want
If they are not in control over discounts on consoles then why should they alienate the player base? Unless said player base cannot be bothered to discover the facts first! If they stop the PC pre-order discount then you can guarantee they would be accused of alienating that part of the player base. I would have bought this without the discount as it was something I really wanted. If you really want something it is worth purchasing discount or not I would have thought, if you are on the fence then wait for a sale.
what facts? There was one pre-order discount for consoles which was NTP. So all these people that claim to know how Sony and Microsoft work are not stating fact at all. Discounts can be done. You don’t think console players would naturally feel hard done to when people can get the same thing cheaper? Assuming ‘the said player base cannot be bothered to discover the facts first’ is a dig at me but that’s fine. This is a forum after all.
NTP was on sale... because Microsoft and Sony let them. That proved that DTG ess trying to make it work, but presumably Microsoft and Sony didn't let them do it for MSB and TVL.
??? This actually backs up my point, because it shows that these companies aren't always willing to do these sales. This isn't something to blame DTG for.
While i agree we dont know if DTG talks to them. I think MS would probably be open to discuss those things and i dont know if DTG is really trying to get in touch or anything. So there´s like in many cases, a lot of speculation involved.
Please release a Class 142 DLC on this route sometime soon after route is released and that’s the cherry on the cake for me.
Noted from the trailer and description. Coke trains unloaded at Redcar. In the trailer, theres loading. Anyone know where the loading takes place? Also DMU passing Tees Airport. Do we have Air as well as road traffic now? Theres a plane in the picture. Maybe its in there for the release article. I would bet that we arent passing Airports without seeing Planes in the sky. Pre release stream on Wednesday evening.
From the Anniversary Stream, Matt and Dimitri mentioned at the end that there will be a stream for the Tess Valley on Wednesday instead of Friday
I seem to recall there being planes in NEC around Newark Liberty Airport, so I wouldn't be surprised. Could be wrong though, especially since NEC doesn't even have moving cars.
I never thought that I would see the words 'Darlington' and 'delight' adjacent to each other. However I'm a Teesside lad so will be getting route on xbox.....full price of course!!
Did I hear on the stream that the "Tubeliner" to Corby is routed via Darlington and not Northallerton?
