Hi all, I've noticed that the coach numbers on the KWG ICE 3 in my timetables are... weird. From the first class end, there are coaches 51, 50, 76, [dining car], 51, 76, 76, and 70. DTG's Kassel-Würzburg timetable is also suffering from this. Does anyone have any idea how to change those? I've noticed a "train numbering override" thing in the formation file, but I have no idea how that works and if it even is what I'm looking for.
Sounds like DTG didn't add a check for that in the formation spawning routine. It could be solved if any of it is exposed in the editor (probably isn't), but I haven't even gotten that far yet.
I don't know if this is the same thing but I was experimenting with creating a new Timetable for IOW and noticed that, one time, out of the 7 units I had running (CL483s) 3 of them were unit 006 ???
That's a setup problem of the displays, I think they show the number of seats of that coach instead of the coach number. Nothing you could do from a timetable / formation setup perspective, only way to fix this would be modding the displays themselves (no idea if that particular issue can even be fixed with the current modding methods we have).
Amazing. Well, at least it's a funny bug. And thanks for confirming I can't do anything about it, that means I can tick another thing off of my to-do list.
