The editor keeps crashing after posting signal type Formsignal. I also can't click on it and it also crashes. No other signal has this!
Have a look in this thread https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...electing-signals-no-way-to-delete-them.77682/
I have found a solution. It is very annoying, but it is no different (laying down the infrastructure. Laying all the switches correctly in one go and then installing the signals last). Normally I do this by rail. But for those 30 Kilometers things have to be a little different.
When placing the Form signals from the Left Rhine, they did not crash when placing and editing. I put this one into use at Bork (Westf.)
When I've read your post yesterday about that you want to place Formsignale from presumably Niddertalbahn, I even wanted to warn you about that issue but didn't had the time to do so. I've had the same issue here already too and posted it in the thread pilot21 linked above. He also gave me the tip to unpak the Niddertalbahn DLC files and swap/delete the references, which in the end helped me so much to even continue with my project. Without that I probably had to give up or at least wait until DTG fixes the bug. It's really annoying and painful. I have done so too but the error persisted. This is not a solution to the issue. The bug is clearly with the Formsignale, not with how you make you build up your infrastructure as all other signal types seem to work fine. However, if I place the Formsignale from Left Rhine (Linke Rheinstrecke) the issue that the Editor crashes when selecting the signals is gone, but... The Formsignale from Left Rhine do not work properly either. They always show pass through (Hp1) even though the technical part of the signal Shows Hp0 and the dispatcher brakes the game session after you have passed the red signal. You also can see this issue in this video of mine, from 3:50 onwards: The problem is I cannot leave the Formsignale in this state on the route, and if not a bug fix happens soon, I sadly have to replace all Formsignale with other modern signals, although I really don't want to do so.
