When you put a passenger train into service or put it away for the night, why are the still passengers on it?I goto the yard to get a passeger train and it comes preloaded with passengers or when i store passenger train for the night it still has passegers on it.
The same problem exists in Train Sim 2019. Basically, in that sim you need two different assets to represent the one car , one with passengers and one without. Same for locomotives with and without drivers. In building a scenario, you chose which assets you want — for sidings choose the car asset without passengers - for the player consist choose the asset with passengers — However you can’t change the assets in mid stream so if you are terminating a run and have the asset with passengers - those passengers will remain on the cars.
As I stated they are two different assets to represent the same car — one with passengers and one without - at least that is the setup in TS2019. I never stated they didn’t exist. I am sure Matt P could confirm if he reads this thread. Once we get an editor that will allows us to review the assets ourselves we can confirm as well.
If passengers want to sit in a dark passenger car in a yard, siding or a empty section of track, for the night it's fine with me but this doesn't seem realistic.
