Indeed. 0.8 miles to a red signal, speed 42mph, brake force at 50% and with 600 yards I'm still doing 30mph, I slam on emergency and I'm doing 15mph when I cross the red light. Doesn't help when it says the limit is going from 60mph to 55mph, springs a 30mps limit 500 yards after that
I don't really post here very often, but wanted to give DTG some kudos for the new TVL route. I was pretty disappointed at first that it wasn't going to be an American freight route, but after playing it a bit yesterday, it's already come close to supplanting LIRR as my favorite route. Great location,atmosphere, and attention to detail, and FINALLY some proper freight activities. Well done!!
My word of advice, (for all locos but especially the 37) is to start breaking as soon as you see a yellow. For the 37, around 25mph is a sweet spot to stop in less than 0.6 miles
