Steam [resolved] Tsw4 "take A Hike" Mission Problem? Find The Hiker

Has DTG issued anything regarding what we are supposed to do in the scenario of finding the injured hiker?

Found the person, got out on foot and approached but no interaction was available? he just stands there with his arms crossed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Clark Smith says (at the end) "too bad you couldn't find him" and you reply "my bad"

Wtf D.T.G......

 

Yeah I'm standing right in front of him right now... No interaction option.

 

Same here, no way to interact with him

 

Now what ?

 

The video shows exactly what I did when I played the scenario, because I missed the man. The worker at the end says "Sorry you couldn't find the man"

However, the missing hiker is there. He exists. You can walk up to him, but not interact with him.

Yes the scenario is completable, but since you cannot interact with the hiker, it never registers that you found him. We believe there is an alternative ending to this scenario where the worker at the end will say something like 'well done, thank you for finding him'.

 

I finally got it !

Open the doors on the train, walk to him, no interaction possible, he will not visually enter the train but make sure the cursor follows you "the yellow thing with the star" on the map when you leave and VOILÀ ! It took me a few times, maybe because of the crappy script but it works.



Then, when you get to the final station, Clark Smith will grant you the rescue !



Hope this will get you the final medal ! If it still doesn't work, try saving on the final arrival before talking to Clark Smith and do try talking to him a few times, see if that will do it. -Cheers !

 

The same on PC Steam version. Found him but can't interact with him. I'm sad =(
