So, we have the UP Heavy Challenger, We have the UP Big Boy, we even have the UP FEF-3 locomotive, all of which are Pro Range Steam Locomotives. Then there's the two New Zeland Pro Range Steam Locomotives, but we're talking about America and China right now. So, one thing no one has ever mentioned so far was the QJ Steam Locomotives, which were very popular Chinese Steam locomotives built for both freight and passenger runs. Their appearance is very unique from most typical German, British, and American Steam Locomotives, which often have unique appearances of their own depending on the model in particular. To get an idea of how unique QJ Steam Locomotives are, let's have a look at one from specific countries were used to in TSC: This is the German DB BR Class 86. One of my favorite locomotives though I do not actually have it. But it just looks so adorable, thought not everyone in the reviews might agree with me. This is the British LMS Stainer 8F Class. This is literally one of the most popular TSC steam locomotives, and one of the most popular British Steam locomotives in real life. This is my most favorite British steam locomotive. It's at the top of my list of things to get for TSC. This is the legendary Lima 2-8-0 Consolidation. One of the most popular American Classics that are very difficult to find today as few are left for all to see and enjoy. Tennesse Railroad Valley Railroad Museum 610 is a Lima 2-8-0 Consolidation, but BUT it's also an USATC S160 Class Steam Locomotive and was once owned by the United States Army. I'm not sure how it ended up into the hands of a Scenic Railroad, but I have Google to tell me all I need to know so I'll research more about it when I get the time. I have the Lima 2-8-0 Consolidation for TSC. The AT&N as there isn't any other 2-8-0 Consolidation for TSC that I know of. This. You will definitely recognize this if you are from New Zealand or have this dlc for the NZ Springfield Line route for TSC. This is the New Zealand KB Class. A very popular locomotive indeed. I don't know too much about it, but will research it when I get the time. And finally, the Chinese QJ Locomotive. Most have 2-10-2 configurations. Some have 1-E1 Configurations. I barely know about these locomotives myself, but again, I will do some heavy research on these bad boys. They do look very similar to other locomotives that have elephant ears such as the UP FEF-3 Class and many Russian Steam Locomotives, but those are the only loco types I know of to look very similar. They're huge, and we need these bad boys from Smokebox. One of the most iconic QJ Locomotives is actually in America as the US Bought some QJ Class locos from China. In fact there are THREE QJ locomotives in the US. The only one I know of is the Iowa Interstate 6988 Locomotive which I believe is still active today. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what route 6988 would be appropriate for since there aren't any IAIS routes for Train Sim Classic. I'm pretty sure a route is not needed since you can practically run 6988 in any part of the US that has standard gauge tracks. The pack would come with one model that comes with several skins. The model itself would be fitted with a Chinese QJ skin by default, which is numbered from 101-3602 if that numbering is even possible. Note this is the main production of the QJ, not the Prototypes. The other option could be 6001-7207, or both could be done, again if that's possible. With the model would come several skins. The first skin would be factory fresh (literally fresh out of the factory) so the livery would be clean, with little to no signs of weathering. The second livery would be weathered. The next three liveries would be IAIS 6988, 7081 and KSHCO 2008 in clean and weathered variants. The last livery would be of QJ 6911, which is currently at Deban Locomotive Depot, Jitong Railway.
In fact, the forward steam locomotive has been released in a Chinese locomotive integration package, which is the download website https://www.railworkschina.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=14215&mobile=2 Due to the fee for registering on this website, downloading this DLC may be a bit troublesome, but this is the only integration package I have found that includes Chinese locomotives
