(or I am a joke and I missed something or didn't understand it quite right but it can't be)
They've broken pretty much everything again including core mods, GodMode and the Signal Visual's are not working again. Luckily I can stop my PC updating. There was no need for this again guys, the workarounds worked. Stop trying to fix something that isn't really broken anymore.

Should be like ETS2 and ATS where you can opt to stay on a beta version of the current release which then stops updates, unless you opt out of the beta. The laughable thing is, they know most of the mods improve the game 10x over so why are they not putting these in the core?!
In ETS2/ATS, it's only labelled as "beta", actually it's the last stable version of the previous release. Not to be confused with actual Betas for upcoming releases.

why does the Addon Manager even exist in the first place? it made many things worse. in TSW3 you could use almost all the mods and you could use loco DLCs without needing the route for it (e.g. Class 700 works without SEH). but now in TSW4 with the A.M. only a quarter of all TSW2/3 mods work, and you really do need the correspoinding route for a loco DLC to work.
I understand the frustration, but since the current way for mods required a wacky workaround, I think it is understandable that they wanted to fix it and do a "proper way" for mods to work. While it is annoying now, hopefully this will make things better in the future.
Sorry but DTG brings fixes and this is a result of this.... Its not the best thing to experience that mods does not work but be happy that DTG has bring out a large amount of fixes. Give it some time and mods will work again....
It wasn’t a wacky workaround FWIW. It just needed a single file to be packed in with the mod which took seconds. No big deal at all.
A question many of us have been asking since the release of TSW4. It makes the game take longer to startup, and breaks mods. It objectively makes things worse for us on PC, with no positives.
Yeah for me its also a strange choice and brings nothing more than problems and DTG cant solve this LOVE normally
I think it looks like a number of mods aren’t working. It’s impossible to know what at this point sadly. The good news is it appears route EP’s and GodMode are now working.
Yeah and the most modders are really quick and you see the example of the Godmode.... This is fixed already
I've just checked and the wonderful 700 timetable on the BML still works fine, it's the only mod I have installed in all honesty.
Sigh of relief. Thought I was just being nit-picky noticing a bunch of glitches that weren’t there pre update. (Did a run just before updating). - Godmod is gone - The hud remains on even after pressing F1 to remove everything from screen. - The little “dot curser” you get when pressing F1 is also gone. Can’t pinpoint controls I want to use. Don’t even get me started on the Formation Editor lol. That thing is difficult to use. Thankfully at least, the “tab button method” of spawning trains seems to work well. The new GUI is nice too. Also seems to add a few more stock options we didn’t have before. Hope to see a patch to update to patch soon.
The problem with F1 is not there on PC.... Maybe you have the HudMod active... Remove this... DTG has changed a lot to the HUD. I mean the mod where you turned off the traction lock sign and the different layout and color
No hud mods here. Just godmod, and the Class 37 EPx coupler mods. Found that leaving the HUD at minimal seems to allow you to have the curser when pressing F1. It’ll also go away when you press it again. (After the patch, the HUD would stay on no matter how many times I press F1).
Right now it causes more issues than it fixes on PS5. It already caused mounting issues in scenario planner where consists wouldn't load, now it's doing the exact same thing in free roam after the last update, the green outlines appear but nothing spawns and it gets progressively worse the longer you're on a map.
Pretty much the addon manager even killed the substitution for 95% of the routes. Here my words for the 20x times to DTG: Again, i chose my platform to not get across any problmes of other platforms. Now you managed to spread a new problem across everything. wow, just wow Lets see how much meat is left on the bone after purchaising all content on 85% sale, which from that steam takes its cut too. For this action ill give DTG a "triple pahetic" rating, sorry...
