Hey can somebody help me with this problem? Like sometimes I want to spawn a train for example a 9 car Class 801 on the ECML Doncaster Peterborough, it says that I apparently I don't have enough memory space, although I still have more than 400 GB free on my Playstation. Sometimes I can spawn a train without any problem but of the most of the time I got this problem. And I've also seen that in the menu where you choose which train you want to spawn, that there shows the amount of my memory space what is available and the amount of what is used. It changes always when I reboot TSW 4. And I wonder how I can fix it and free up my memory space to spawn a train without that thing showing up that I apparently don't have enough space left.

The PS4 (I think) has a memory of 8GB. Each time you spawn a train in free roam, you use some of that memory. If you spawn too many, you will exceed this 8GB, and the game crashes.

I believe, when you go to select a locomotive to spawn, there will be a number at the bottom to tell you how much memory you have used.

It may sound hard, but PS4 as the hardware here is on its knees when it comes to deal with a resource hog like TSW4. Hell, even my PS5 or some High End PCs are struggling to drive it smoothly. For whatever reasons which would make another thread ...

The message you see there refers to your Arbeitspeicher, not to your Festspeicher. The latter is upgradable, the former is not. The best shot you can get - if you have a PS4 Slim- is a jump to PS4 PRO with additional factory RAM installed (+1Gb IIRC). But that´s about it.

DTG won´t tell you much about those restrictions, there's still a considerable amount of Gen8 consoles working abroad, with players paying full price for their DLCs. Nasty, I know, but just another "Enough's Enough Thread"...

Thank you for your response and I also thank to the other men for their responses.

The problem is, I already got the Pro Version of the PS4 so I think I can't really do something except for "shifting" another gear up to the PS5 or the PC...

Yes, the PC is really the best option, at least for this game. You'll be able to enjoy all the mods some passionate and gifted members here are providing to the community. But that's also the most expensive option.

With all the downsides of being injailed by Sony, the PS5 is a quantum leap, no more no less.

I Just Switched From Ps4 To Ps5… Oh My God!
