I have a question... How do you uncouple this units? There are many questions here on the forums but nobody knows.... DTG Alex Can you ask the team how this works? There is no manual for this route so there is no information and you need this in timetable mode.... This unit is updated yesterday so i hope there is a solution to this!
I generally don't get it why there are manuals for the game and thus core routes but not additional routes. in the end even core routes of past TSWs become normal DLC routes, so whats different?
Dunno if this works in the game, but here's how you supposed to do it in real life according to the MU's manual: Uncoupling During the time when the key switch is in the "Uncouple" position there's traction lock in effect. Caution! Risk of injury! When disengaging in a track curve, the coupling heads move back to the centre position! A lateral clearance of at least 1 metre must be maintained! Caution! If the couplers are under tension before disconnection, they may suddenly move forward! A lateral clearance of at least 1 metre must be maintained! Warning! Automatic disconnection of vehicles is only possible from the cabs where the concerned couplings are located. Apply the train's spring-loaded brake. Turn the 22S01 switch with the 22S02 key to "0" and remove the key. Go the cab from which the uncoupling is to be made. Turn the 22S01 switch with the 22S02 key to "Uncouple". The screen will display the "Preparing to uncouple" message. The train that was operated with an active cab in the train composition must confirm the zugbus identification. The other part of the train shall be subjected to the brake test required by the applicable railway instructions. Manual uncoupling If automatic uncoupling of the coupling devices is not possible, the trains shall be uncoupled manually. The manual disconnection of the electrical coupling shall be achieved by means of a lever with an internal hexagon inserted in the operating lever. Mechanical uncoupling is possible by means of a damper rod. Turn off the "Electric coupler control" switches (74F05 [2nd row, fifth from the right on the +115 switch cabinet in the "A" driver's cab] and 74F06 [dunno where it is]). Shut off the isolating switch (11) at the top of the coupling head. This will vent the actuator of the E-coupler. The E-coupler remains in its momentary position. The isolating switch can be identified by the red operating lever. Shut off the isolating switch in the same manner on the other coupler. For mechanical and pneumatic disconnection, pull up and unhook the damper rod (10). Turn the rod to the right until the mechanical coupler opens.
Sorry but this is totally not working! Thanks anyways.. DTG Alex DTG JD I guess they dind't build this function... The only option is to switch to Beginner mode and than it gives you the mouse option to click with the mouse. There is a popup that says "do you wanna un couple" after you click its finished but thats not how it supposed to be.
Xander1986, thank you so much for your suggestion of setting Player Assist to Beginner!! This enabled me to complete RE 87 (23390) Wertheim to Aschaffenburg Hbf which I had been stuck on due to the uncoupling bug.
odd enough though is that AI uncoupling does work on the ICE 3 (spotted in Würzburg), just not manual uncoupling, so why does it not entirely work on the 642??
In Tsw it seems the uncoupling was not implemented same as for the br 612. Shame, this is considered a basic standard feature. Now services involving uncoupling are not possible. Strange decision for me..
Yeah but the only thing is you cant finish the journey chapter due to a timetable bug in this service.... You get stuck direct after the first stop.... In timetable mode you can remove both trains
Xander1986, here are the steps I followed to earn a journey mode check mark for RE 87 (23390) Wertheim to Aschaffenburg Hbf: 1. Set Player Assist to "Beginner" in the options. 2. As soon as the signal turns yellow, accelerate to max throttle as fast as you can without wheelslip and ignore all speed limits. 3. By maxing the throttle and ignoring speed limits, I was able to arrive at Klingenberg just 47 seconds late. This enabled me to snatch the green signal from the oncoming train that creates the permanent red signal when arriving too late to Klingenberg. I didn't have any further signal issues on the service. 4. At the end of the service, the automatic coupling mode from Beginner Player Assist will prompt you to uncouple. 5. Head to the end of the other train segment you just uncoupled, closest to the next stop marker. 6. Sit in the driver's seat. You will be warned about losing your journey mode progress. Accept this and continue. 7. Drive to the very close stop marker and stop. The service will complete and you will still earn a medal and your journey mode check mark. I received a gold for my efforts.
Yeah Thanks but this is not okay to play this in this way... Ridiculous of course Not your'e fault of course and thanks for your'e help
