The Goblin Line is a short route of only 13 miles in length. Will DTG be asking £29.99 for the route?

 

What kind of content will 'Ticket to the North' be working on please? Is it locos, full routes etc. And will they mainly be working on stuff in the North of England? Thank you

 

Will DTG implement an autosave feature to avoid console players needing to keep going back to the pause menu to save manually in case of crashes please? Thank you

 

Can DTG explain if route 'merging' is possible, and if not, why it isn't? By this, I don't mean smooth gameplay between the two necessarily. For example, say you add another ECML section that follows on from Doncaster to Peterborough, is there anything stopping DTG from making it so when you reach the boundary of the existing route, it loads up to the relevant section of the new route please with some kind of holding screen (like we get when we load the game)? This would make gameplay more immersive, and allow us to continue routes between consecutive sections of track. Thank you

 

Last but not least, is the UK loco mentioned in the roadmap a class 91 please? The community clearly would like to see this for the ECML, and I believe that the 'hype' you would get by announcing this would generate a lot of community goodwill. Thank you

 

Will the Class 66 with Freight be a layer on London Overground aka Goblin Line as they run on there in real life this being a heavy traffic route for freight in fact also in will the timetable be life real life where they run around 4 services per hour on weekdays and one last thing could u give us all a update on the freight traffic for the NEC NY - Trenton and where we at on a release for that as promised

 

Why hasn’t DTG sorted the following issues with the LNER 801 so far, and will you fix them please?

• Pantograph in 9 car units should be up at back by default, but goes up at front by default
• Wiper should be on the right by default, but goes on the left by default
• Coach lettering incorrect. On 9 car units it should be A B C G H J K L M but the game has it as A B C D E F G H I or something
• Guard control panels intermittently fail to work (particularly the close all doors and open all doors option)

When will the timetable update for Köln-Aachen come into effect, because on the December roadmap it was in the 0-3 months section so how much longer will it be?

They have been working on a german route through the editor, but idk if that is a personal project or an official one. Just letting you know that we don't know what the majority of the new 3rd parties will specialize in. Many have to still learn the tools from scratch. All we know is what they worked on in tsc or other games.

They didn't announce it on the roadmap. It just says uk loco. It could be literally anything. Matt did tease that it is something desirable, but nobody knows what it will be.

Unless they announce it or tease it somewhere, no plans.

During matts recent festival of rail stream, he mentioned that Joe, the timetable dev is busy working on other projects so it is on hold at the moment.

If it ever gets added to the roadmap and there is an opportunity for it. No plans either way since it's not on there.

Are there any plans to remaster more routes like the west somerset railway?
And maybe to expand older routes ( for example the part from Dresden Neustadt to Dresden airport)

 

Don't forget the PIS being one station ahead of where it should be.

 

Will formation designer be coming *to TSW4* for console gamers as well?

I've also noticed that the ever-present "6+ months" section of the roadmap has now been removed, so does that mean there are no plans to take TSW4 into that 6+ month period?

 

I wonder, will we get the TMS voice announcments in the new Scottish route? Though not without faults, it IS fun to have.

 

It will come to console. I've been playing on pc and there are many bugs in it. Trains are missing. The formation logic doesn't make sense sometimes. Lots of things can't connect at all. I've had several crashes and the naming makes it hard to navigate. If it released on consoles today, you wouldn't be happy or have a fully good experience

 

Hi. For Matt. Could route merging be investigated. Now we hav san Bernardino coming , Cajon pass and antelope valley would be cool to link and be able to have them working together.

 

It's a typo in the preview video you can see it is correctly named Upper Holloway on the station signs

 

It is a short route but to be fair it takes 40 minutes for a complete journey end to end

 

Same on the Class 395

 

I know it will come to consoles eventually but I'm pretty sure folk would still appreciate a little transparency as to which version of the game they are planning on introducing it into. Bearing in mind that this feature was one of the USP's for TSW4...with no mention whatsoever that it would be just a beta for PC gamers only.

 

As it was advertised as one of the main selling points of TSW4, it would be (insert appropriate word here) if it came to a possible TSW5 instead.

 

Can you please confirm, if the Semmeringbahn only comes with 2nd class coaches, as the image makes us believe, or will 1st class coaches also be included?
Would be nice, if this point could be clarified.

 

With the amount of addons and routes releasing in the long term from both 1st and 3rd parties what's being done to address memory will there be an update to addons manager?

 

Are the sounds on the 170 mixed by DTG like what happened with the 158 or are they being done by rivet?

 

There has been a lot of speculation on the forums as to whether DTGs GWR licence was revoked, but no official confirmation. Does DTG currently hold a GWR licence please, and if not what barriers are in place to you getting hold of one? Thank you

 

sadly it looks like no more new GWR content, it was a rumour for a while but looks to have been confirmed, it’s possible they may get it back one day but for now it’s like one they haven’t got, though it looks like the original agreement allows them to continue selling GWE.

 

There has been some speculation on the forums as to whether DTG has been refused a Cross Country license, but no official confirmation. Does DTG currently hold a Cross Country licence please, and if not what (if any) barriers are in place to you getting hold of one? Thank you

 

It was implied by DTG Liam they don't have one anymore (either in one of the WSR threads or the route remake thread).

 

They’ll probably come at the same time but the 158 is a separate DLC (hopefully for 5,99€ and not 11,99)

 

Thank you for answering my question on merging - it was really interesting to hear! I really hope the challenges can be overcome, as this is a feature us PS4 players cannot access via hacking/modding.

Is DTG interested in bringing further sections of the ECML to TSW please? This is why I thought merging may be good (similar to the Alan Thompson Sim TSC merge for the ECML sections). I know DTG JD was keen on Newcastle to York, as are many of us.

 

Question for Matt - is the UK Loco mentioned on the roadmap a desiro? We need our minds putting at ease as to whether this was the hint with 'desirable' or if we are all just massively overthinking this. Loads of us would love the loco to be a 91 please!

Hello, I have recently heard that you guys have been planning the Oakville subdivision services for tsw from a roadmap about 3-4 months ago. I haven't heard any news on these new train services, I am just wondering if these services are still in wip (work in progress) or if these train serivces updates have been cancelled for tsw?

Well, @#$%^^&. Was looking forward to the stream today since I'm working from home, but I've just tuned in two hours late because apparently single-digit subtraction is beyond me.

 

Probably am quite late, but will the 1116 have the blue cab? Just a simple texture change I could probably do within like 30min would make this loco sooo much better and quite a little bit different then the other BR182's(THEY ARE NOT TAURI!).

The 1116 will have a brand new cab and soundset so if it's on the real thing, it will most likely be included
