I am putting my post from Player Feedback in this thread. I am beginning to believe that, somehow, my install of TSW4 has gotten compromised and causing problems. ECML is giving me a UE crash when I try to start it. I get all the way to selecting the train, 800 (both of them) and timetable service and hit start and it thinks for a few seconds and crashes to the desktop. I have verified files and it found 2 which it reloaded; this was from getting 2 items today on the sale. Also, other routes I have checked load fine, so it's only ECML so far. It ran fine several days ago, before the update. To eliminate my Rail Driver, unplugged it, made no difference. Also, tried the 66 with same results. Know someone will ask about mods, don't think I have any loaded for ECML. Ticket has been submitted. Add: I ran the E - G Scottish route and the display screen in the 385 is not working. Starting to wonder if my install of TSW4 is trashed for some reason. Do I need a total uninstall and re install of the whole thing. My install is messed up. Went into Cross City and the front windows of the 323 are crazed and you can't see anything.
do you have mods installed if so remove them and try again some mods may not be compatible with the latest update
I had the same crash on ECML. In my case it was Londonmidland’s Signal Enhancement Mod. I reinstalled it and it’s working fine now, so I guess I had an old version.
Will go in and see. Ran several older routes today, East Coastway and Linke Rheinstrecke and had no issues with either. OK, I removed all of my mods and it now loads, so will put them back one at a time to see which one it was. I had already checked the latest scenery mod to LBM and that wasn't the one.
You need v2.2 of the signal mod from TSC as that is almost certainly the cause of your issue. If you use it mod manager it doesn’t seem to pick the older version up and remove it.
