As we (mostly) all know SEHS, I do like the fact its in a modern era, however I was thinking to my self "if we had a different era GWE, why not SEHS?" This is a suggestion of SEHS being based in the mid (or even late) 90s. Trains The trains in question would be: class 411, class 465/0 and /9 and class 365. the 465/0 will be in the very known brush motors. The class 465/411 will be in NSE livery, and the 365 (and also) 411 will have a conex livery. All trains will use AP sounds! HS1 With hs1, Ashford will still be around (with no 395s) but the other areas won't be. Summary This would be a good idea, I would say the price would be at least £15 (I would totally buy it) Should there be anything missing, comment it! Glossary: NSE: network south East, GWE: great western express, SEHS: Southeastern high speed
The High Speed 1 line didn't exist back then so really any services at Ashford would be AI only, which is sort of pointless as you can't drive anywhere from there on the conventional network with the track represented in TSW. The Chatham Main Line itself has also had numerous changes e.g. a new Rochester station, remodelled Gravesend and Rainham stations, area around Ebbsfleet etc. IMO any backdated Southern Region stock would be best included in a new era-appropriate route, rather an a diesel legends style old stock on modern route approach.
It would probably be better to have Ashford as an end station and maybe run the route towards Dover? Obviously, Ashford International would need to be remade to fit in the era, but that can't be much of an issue.
It wouldn't really work tbh, as I'd rather two DLCs of the same time period that can connect to each other, e.g. SEHS + London - Dartford
