I think it would be very cool to see the GEML in tsw, along with it's iconic rolling stock (mainly Class 309 and Class 321), in their London South-eastern (Jaffa cake) and Network Southeast liveries. This would be a great choice for a route similar to the GWE where it has both modern and BR era routes, with the options on the GEML being early 1990s and 2010s, though both are long length routes with plenty of stops and service variations. (1990s including 309 & 321, 2010s including 321, 317, 315 & 90). Class 309 London South-eastern (Jaffa cake). Class 309 Network Southeast. Although a few years earlier, I do like the curved front windows more. Class 321 Network Southeast. As unlikely as this is, I believe either a 2010s or 1990s version would be amazing.
Definitely. Better to have more variety available which will make the route more interesting. The iconic Network South East livery would look great in Train Sim World. Great suggestion.
Liverpool st to Ipswich, its what we have in tsc already and would be most promising for an actual tsw dlc. However if they decide to change their methods and actually spend time on requested routes and locos they could do it up to Norwich and Clacton on Sea, allowing the 309s to fulfil their name as the Clacton Express.
Liverpool Street to Ipswich would be fun set st the minimum of 2010 on my opinion. I would prefer it even later.
you had me at Jaffa Cake. I would LOVE to see Slam-Door Units make their debut in TSW and this could be the perfect route for it. I would also love to see more NSE in TSW as technically the only NSE train we have is the BR Class 483 from Rivet
Great suggestion, I think that the era should be early 2010s because you have more rolling stock variety along the main stretch of the GEML e.g. 321s, 90/Mk3 DVTs, 360s, 317s etc. but I'd welcome a 1990s-themed pack if it was done similarly to Diesel Legends of the Great Western Could be called Electric Legends of the Great Eastern possibly?
