That's the Roadmap done, but the thread isn't... I'm going to do a monthly development insight into one mod I release within the current month (e.g February for this one) whether it has released or not to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes ;)

    February's 'Development Insight':

    Case Study:
    (TG08) MRCE (BR 193)

We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08 to talk about the livery '(TG08) MRCE (BR 193)' that has released in the past week :)

How long did it take you to make the livery?

TrainGeek08: "It took me nearly 2 and a half hours to complete, as I made sure to include about 85-90% of the technical information on the locos' underside, it is the longest I have spent on a livery since making 66523 and 66623 in their Freightliner colour schemes."

We all know you are a fantastic scenario creator, will you make (or include) this livery within any of your upcoming German scenarios?
TG08: "Yes, I will use it in some scenarios where you will see a variety of freight trains within it, so you could expect to see it pop up in any scenario on a German route in the not too distant future."

    Did you enjoy creating it?
TG08: "Yes, I spent a lot of time creating it and based on the subscriber count, I think I did the right thing with taking my time on this one."

    Why the MRCE livery?
TG08: "I know there is a MRCE BR 182 (from Hauptstrecke Hamburg-Lubeck) and the MRCE BR 185.5 (from Rhein-Ruhr Osten or Nahverkehr Dresden) so I wanted to give the MRCE livery a go on the Vectron and I think I did really well on it."

Will you do more German-liveried locos in the future?

TG08: "If you look in the Roadmap, I have a DB Traffic Red liveried BR 103 in the works, and that should release in a couple of weeks or so, I hope you are looking forward to it releasing!"

Will you do a weathered livery in the future?

TG08: "We'll see... I am not planning to make a weathered version yet but if the community want it, then it is something I'll look into doing."

Thanks to TrainGeek08 for taking the time to answer those burning questions for us :)

    Conclusion:
Anyway, this is it then, hope you enjoyed this one, put your thoughts below, from me, TrainGeek08, I'll see you soon for another CC release announcement or suggestion, enjoy the rest of your day and goodbye ;)

    Release date changes:

Peninsula Corridor: Two in One (GP38-2/SD40-2) - Saturday 24th February 2024 to TBC
