I have a couple of questions about both as I have just bought Kassel-Wurzburg. Is it possible to couple the class 401. I see that you can open the coupler hatch but can't seem to couple. Is there a way to extend the coupler or maybe isn't it possible How do you open the coupler hatch of a class 403. I can only seem to open the rear one. Maybe there isn't a way. How do I use the class 403 on 25kv ac. Do I have to use one of the in-cab screens to change the country or power type. Its just the class 403 that has 25kv not the 401 right? If anyone could help with any of the questions. It'd be much appreciated
In real life, no. The couplers in the front are only for emergency purposes. How TSW handles them, I don’t know. There should be a button in the cab, I think, but I haven’t played the ICE3 in ages. You don’t. The ICE3 (Br 403) only works on 15kV 16 2/3 Hz (just like the ICE1 Br 401). You’d need the ICE3M (Br 406) to work on 25kV. There is an ICE3M coming with SKA but I doubt it actually has 25kV implemented.
Thanks for the reply. At least I know now. I thought the 403 could go on 25kv because when you spawn it in freemode it says 25kv. Very confusing
