They said something about an update for the penn update for the PS4 for the heavy freight package later on down in June but the update start today may 30. So I guess they still focusing On the foreign route. And another thing how can you guys be so sure that the next DLC FOR America Is next ?
Me too, the new physics update, while not perfect, has made TSW enjoyable to me, it no longer feels like a cheap flashy toy, now it is something that is at least somewhat realistic. I'm really hoping for the UP route through my hometown, but that will probably never happen.
Is it a famous route? I like Union Pacific but live on Norfolk Southern rails so I prefer them. We get allot of Union Pacific engines up here though.
Famous? I would say no, but I think it is interesting. The whole section between St. Louis and Kansas City would be wonderful, but probably way too long for either TSW or TSxx. A large portion follows the Missouri River, there are a decent amount of small grades to make it challenging, there are single and double track sections, many small industries along the entire route to switch out, Amtrak stations all along the way. Originally it was a MoPac line, I'm pretty sure MoPac does not exist in either TSW or TSxx anywhere so it could be set back in time and we would have something new. I've offered DTG several times to provide pictures, video, any and all info that I could help with to make this route happen but I have not heard anything from them on it.
Just to add to my post, I would love a route that I already know well enough that I wouldn't need the HUD to drive. I know all of the towns, sidings, and crossovers by name all along the entire route, to me that would be a lot of fun. Oh and there is a large coal fired power plant near St. Louis that has its own several mile long lead.
