Well they can't get a gbrf license. I'm happy they still released it than not because it provides interesting gameplay. With brand new wagons and lots of new services and a low price, I think it's worth the price. Similar story with the rog. Provides unique services. Not necessarily worthless tbh

It's cheap, but I'm not convinced that releasing a completely incorrect pack is worse than releasing a partly incorrect (unbranded) one. Plus, while the 66 is used for RHTT services in Kent alongside 57s and 69s, the primary haulage for these trains are Class 73s. A full loco pack with a new 73 (which doesn't even need to be in GBRF livery as they have ones in BR Blue and other old liveries) would have made more sense, but that isn't what they did.

That really is a feast of nitpickery.

The 101 is a superb locomotive; not including the cab car is indeed a grrrr! decision, but the locomotive itself is one of the best in TSW
Austria is a new country and there is only so much OBB stock in existence. They are adding the Taurus, which is THE essential Austrian loco. How much more do you expect?
Cane Creek is a very well done if unambitious route; yes, the reversed truck on the 4400 is a blunder (easily fixed via mod) and open hoppers for the dirt train were a cut corner worth complaining about; but the route is spectacular to look at and more challenging to drive than one would expect; the claim that it shouldn't have been released is simply piffle.
I couldn't say what's "wrong" with it- the 465 is, again, a brilliant train; along with the 101 and Vectron one of the very best; and all I ever see is the cab anyway.

The class 465 interior isn't wrong besides the vestibule grab rails being the old version so I really have no idea what that guy is on about.

Complaining for the sake of complaining.

Incorrect moquette throughout the train except in first class and by the toilets. They got it wrong with the initial DLC release, then when they ported the model to Train Simulator, then when they rereleased it for TSW3. I and many others pointed it out and a fix was made, but DTG never acknowledged the completely obvious and easy to fix issue that it was.

As for the rest of it, call it nitpicking or not - I don't really care. Things that are wrong will still be wrong if I don't complain about it.

So did you buy all those things you complained about?

Almost all of them, yes. Some were refunded later on.

Slight bump, but seemed the best thread to put this sentiment. Having purchased the BMG Stanier Mogul for TSC in the WSR Anniversay sale, finally got round to taking a full run on the TSC WSR. Well with all due respect to the TSC route author, it just looks bare and bland compared to the richness and depth of colour and scenery on the TSW version. Even more so the remaster. Really made me appreciate the TSW iteration.

If only we had the selection of locos to run on the TSW version that TSC does.

I think the WSR (both before and after the update) is one of the best examples of what TSW scenery can look like, and one of the limited number of instances where the TS version looks significantly worse. The JT version looks worse than the DTG version, but I expect that the Steam Sounds Supreme version is much much better.
