Can we have an extension of the ECML to include King's Cross and York as destinitions and include the Flying Scotsman (1E01) timetable service.

    And 225s!

I think this expansion may be too long for DTG currently, but would like to see it.

The extension should be to York.

London-Peterborough is a whole route in itself. It's 76 miles, it would be joint 4th for longest routes in the game with Antelope Valley just behind the ECML, Cajon Pass and Kassel-Wurzburg

Peterborough to York would be 112 miles (2nd Longest route in the game)

I quite like this suggestion although York would be too much for dtg

Ideally the route should have gone Peterborough to York anyway, the 225 as a DLC.

I would prefer to see it extended to York and include the 225 in a free update

Me too. I just wonder if DTG wouldn’t do that though, as there would be no ROI from existing customers who have the route.

How much did SEHS extended cost for those who already owned the original base? That would likely be a decent price indication

The same as a brand new route as it was all rebuilt from scratch I think.

Thanks for letting me know - were there improvements to existing route sections then? Or was the existing portion just rebuilt pretty much identically? Surprised they didn't offer some kind of 'loyalty' discount

I believe there were some scenery improvements, as well as the 375 being reworked.

Not entirely sure as I didn't really touch it before TSW3.

Doncaster to York ought to be doable albeit fairly flat and uninspiring. Peterborough to Kings Cross would be better though.

If a new train is involved, I don't think dtg would make it free. Sehs had no new trains, just extra track but then you know got it if you bought tsw3 so not technically free.

Dra, sherman hill and boston sprinter had no new stock and no new track.

There were some improvements to the existing sections. I think scenery was a big change. Of course there is the new signaling systems like approach control and the usual upgrades to tsw3 features. Anyone is a loyal customer if they own tsw really. I mean how would they know if you were loyal or not. Manually going through each account to see how long they owned tsw would be a very tedious thing to do. The loyalty discount was a free upgrade in tsw3 if you already owned it previously.

While Peterborough to Kings Cross would be very wanted, it would warrant a new route in itself as it’s more of an opposite to the current ECML with more stations to model, Thameslink and Great Northern layers to include with the potential to expand to include Lumo, Hull Trains and Grand Central. Whereas the current ECML is more of a high speed line, the KX to Pboro would be more a mix with a much larger emphasis on commuter services. If they did that, I’d hope they’d include St Pancras Low Level as a starting point for some of the Peterborough services.
Both KX - Pboro and a York expansion I would really want in game though.
