I’ve noticed the rain isn’t forming on the window when the train isn’t moving on the class 700

Interesting. That's also happening on the 385 - and everyone was quick to blame it on Rivet...

 

well the 385 is entirely rivets responsibility and judging by it been out over a year and if it’s still happening that is well earned the criticism

 

I thought the 385 was the other way round, with rain landing on it when it isn't moving and it not hitting it when it is moving.

 

Yes, you're probably right there. It just sprang to my mind immediately.

What I was trying to say that maybe the issue lies in core materials.
