I did a service last night in the Class 43 HST and it felt like the drivers cabin was much more “animated” it felt like it rocked/swayed and even bounced more than usual. Not sure if it was just me but it was a much more enjoyable drive. Has this been a recent update to the GWE or was it just me...?
I have noticed the same thing on the PC byeo. Certainly, from looking outside also, the coach movement is nice and the hoses jiggle about really well.
The question has been asked recently. Especially after the 182 dlc. Cab sway has not been implemented yet.
Rapid Transit new dlc - route update. WSR new loco - route service update mooted. GWE - new dlc? Route update? I hope so, fixing the dodgy sound, and trains appearing as if by magic. Destination boards - hope so. ATP - longshot I fear.
I took the 166 for a spin yesterday and I noticed that it struggled to get to speed and I found it difficult to keep to the timetable. Even on very long flat sections it only got to 90mph maybe once. It's the first time I have used the 166 in about 9 months but I don't recall it be so slow, I have it on full power most of the time and never get it to coast like I used to.
I noticed about 5-6 weeks ago that the cab appeared to sway. I cannot remember if it has always been that way or not though, but it was certainly the first time I was consious of it.
Anyone also wish there was a bit more for the class 66? I went back last week and did the Aggregate Industries scenario and quite enjoyed it. Just going from A to B on the services though just isn't the same. A scenario pack for the 66 is the type of thing I would definitely pickup if it was ever a thing
It is the most disappointing thing about the game IMO, a straight through route in a 66. One of my favourite modern locos and great to drive in game. I wish there was much more freight for it, but the release of TVL made up for it by distracting me. Can't wait for the NTP freight pack. Anything involving the powerhouse 66 and I'm in.. Would also purchase scenarios for it.
Theres an EWS 08 aswell as JNA and MFA wagons on the way, based on the dlc list. So far everythings been correct.
I'd certainly like more freight, shunting and loading/unloading scenarios. Acton and Southall yards need to be busier. A 59 wouldn't go amiss!
