I ran a service on NEC and as I got into a 90mph stretch of track I put the throttle to 10. Well on down the line the engine starts slowing up and maxed out at 75. Going down the hill at Oak Point it went faster and got to 108mph. Still slow compared to the old 140mph I would run when I was late.
Mine can happily reach 135mph with seven coaches. One thing that I noticed is that you have to manually release the independent brake by holding it in overcharge for a few seconds.
