I am totally gobsmacked how different TSW4 is when played on the PS5. I have had a PS4 Pro for god knows how many years, and I bought a PS5 and an extra internal 2TB SSD drive on Saturday. The load times, the GFX, and especially the sounds are so different when playing on the PS5. Stations don't look bare, with no passengers, routes don't look lifeless, more trains, the GFX are much better, the draw distance and performance increase. And the audio improvements I can hear horns now, AWS, more life, more clarity, quick loading times..............Bliss. I am so glad I updated it. Brings a new life to a game.
Switching to PS5 is like playing a totally different game. Simple things like clearly seeing dials and reading labels makes it so much easier to play. Not crashing every hour is also a.major bonus!
Go into the PS5 settings and enable 3D audio makes driving with or without headphones much more immersive
PS5 is just incredible best console i have ever owned and i used a Xbox before the PS5 that soon got put in the box and in the cellar
And aside being smoother etc, the PS5 doesn’t sounds like a plane taking off, I remember how loud it was on some routes on TSW or while playing RDR2.
Those fans used to kick in as soon as the as the game finished loading, I used to play the game in HD and not 4K, and even then the fans used to go totally nuts.
Are you able to go PBO to DON on the ECML without it crashing just before DON on the PS5? DTG Matt This bug really needs fixing regardless of if it is PS4 only please!
I’m having a huge FPS drops when arriving near Doncaster and I’m on PS5, I can’t imagine how it is on the PS4/Pro, nonetheless it’s working fine except when I’m using the HST as it crashes 50% of the time.
TSW on PS5 looks and sounds a lot better than on PS4 but the passengers for the most part still [Removed - Alex: Highly Insensitive] lurch and careen around in very unrealistic ways.
Just to be clear, I was describing how TSW4 passengers (i.e. fake people) "behave" in the game, I was not making a comment about actual people or denigrating them in any way. Language comprehension skills aren't what they used to be it seems.
